POSITION SUMMARY: Advanced Delivery Technology – Material Sciences

The incumbent possesses knowledge and hands-on expertise in material science innovation, skin measurement techniques, and the development and testing of formulation phases specifically for skin delivery technology. The candidate will have prior experience in fate of actives and delivery systems technology with performance analysis testing and will be responsible for conducting research in the area.


  • Engages in specialized research for the development, analysis, and optimization of delivery technologies for new and breakthrough skin care benefit agents in our prestige products within our delivery and measurement sciences group. Produces and aligns technical contributions that promote and maintain the company's status as the leader in the field of cosmetic research and development.

  • Conduct, document and present the findings of independent research and experimentation, in specialized field of expertise.

  • Develops new and innovative techniques, technology and/or products that substantially differs from or exceeds current products and technology.

  • Provide technical leadership to the Research and Development through educational and consultative assistance to professional staff in his/her area of expertise.

  • Design, conduct and document research based on topics of special interest to R&D management. Completes special projects as assigned by senior management. Interacts with senior R&D management to troubleshoot, explain and demonstrate findings.

  • Research new directions and ideas through examination of scientific literature and interaction with other scientists and members of the professional community.

  • Participate in special projects as assigned by senior management.



  • Equivalent of a Master's Degree in scientific field with a minimum of 7-10 years laboratory experience or a Ph.D. with a minimum of 5-7 years laboratory experience.
