Description

Create and maintain a valid daily production schedule considering material and capacity availability. Balance supply and demand, ensuring requirements are clear, accurate and achievable. Manage activities and resources in line with departmental goals and objectives. Act as a liaison between planning and production departments to ensure that all business goals are met with an executable and efficient work plan.

  • Generate daily and weekly production schedules by optimizing equipment utilization and addressing business service needs ( 20% )

  • Ensure material availability and release all process orders to appropriate personnel ( 20% )

  • Conduct execution meetings, coordinate daily scheduling changes and transition information between shift personnel ( 15% )

  • Engage and liaise with all departments and personnel necessary to ensure effective execution of the production schedules (15 % )

  • Schedule Non Standard Resource Activity (i.e. Pilots, First Production Batches, Test Fills, PM, Rework Orders, Vendor and Brand Chargebacks and Unabsorbed Labor Orders ) ( 5% )

  • Assess labor requirements and adjust resource capacity to account for overtime hours and capacity constraints on a monthly basis (5 % )

  • Generate daily attainment report and weekly CDPS report (5%)

  • Monitor timely TECO of completed process orders and report outstanding orders in daily meeting ( 5% )

  • Monitor and assure compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adherence to defined procedures (5% )

  • Perform other duties as assigned ( 5% )

Qualifications

University degree in Engineering, Quality Engineering, Science, or technical field. Minimum one year as a production supervisor

  • Experience scheduling in a challenging environment

  • Must be familiar with MS office and SAP applications preferred

  • Must be able to apply root cause analysis for problem solving

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Must be able to interact professionally with business partners

  • Flexibility to support off-shift operations on an as needed basis
