To provide R&D Warehouse labor support to effectively meet the daily objectives of the R&D Warehouse Operations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Retrieve chemicals, supplies and mass from R&D Warehouse as required from a pick-list and move them to Assembly area or Pre-Weigh Staging for cutting.

  • Responsible for creating storage labels and maintaining accurate inventory in the Research Park R&D Basement storage room for all lab retains, lab components and mass.

  • Transfer chemicals, equipment and supplies from Shipping & Receiving Loading dock and store into the appropriate storage locations in the R&D Warehouse.

  • Raw Material content re-weighing. This function would encompass re-weighing material and updating database prior to contents being placed back to inventory. Maintain accurate storage locations for all chemicals and supply inventory.

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate inventory Storage Labels for all chemicals and mass returns, supplies, and lab storage as required.

  • Retrieve and discard Expired Pilot Mass and Expired Raw materials from warehouse as directed by Supervisor.

  • Perform breakdowns on newly received chemicals. May be required to assemble and deliver chemicals and supplies when necessary. May be required to replenish component room on a daily bases.

  • Quality check to ensure that all raw materials returned back to the Warehouse are checked for an expiration date, container condition, storage, and are properly received into to the RDS.

  • Provide back-up support to R&D Warehouse Operations functions when necessary. These functions include: Raw material pre-weighing, raw material assembly / delivery, inventory movement, shipping & receiving activities.

  • Responsible for accuracy of all incoming shipments of COMPONENTS from VENDORS. Ensure that the storage label is accurate and matches the order.

  • Responsible for following all guidelines and standard operating procedures for safe and proper handling of chemicals, mass, components for GMP and safety compliance. Special projects as assigned by management.

MACHINES /INSTRUMENTS USED: Hi-Lo, Order Picker, Dock Transporter, Hand-Held Scanner, Personal Computer, Hand Truck, Telephone, Fax Machine, Calculator.

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience required

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Excellent communication skills required; must be able to read and write English.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Individual will be required to continually lift and transfer 5 to 55 gallon containers weighing 20kg to 250kg.

  • Must be able to handle 55gal / 200kg drums.

  • Must handle hazardous raw materials (flammable, combustible, acids, bases, corrosive, etc…)

  • Must handle containers of hazardous waste properly.

  • Must demonstrate ability to operate material handling equipment in a safe and proficient manner

  • Individual must be able to rotate between 2 warehouse locations

  • Must in-climate weather conditions

  • Must possess strong work ethics and be self-motivated.

  • Individual must be able to multi task and have the ability focus on executing priorities as directed by the area Supervisor.

  • Individual must be very detailed oriented.

  • Individual must possess excellent time management skills.

  • Individual must be able to work well with others and demonstrate excellent customer services skills.

  • Must be able to operate a personal computer, hand held scanner and possess learning agility skills.

  • Must maintain a good attendance and safety record

  • Must be trained in use of: RDS, SC Logics and Excel.

  • Must maintain a current Hilo and Transporter license.

  • Individual will be required to learn and adhere to GMP Compliance requirements
