Manager, HR, Travel Retail (Retail)

Responsible for leading HR responsibilities for retail employees of all ELC brands, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, engagement, learning & development, compliance, employee programs. The Retail HRBP will work with Corporate HR and with the field management in developing and implementing the employee retail strategy.
Retail Human Resources Manager:
Demonstrates success in managing complex employee relations issues conducting investigations and hearings, providing advice and coaching to managers.
Track data to develop an understanding of re-occurring employee relations issues within regions and specific store locations and create best practices to run an effective organization.
Interprets and evolves policy and processes to support a fair, positive, productive work environment
Remain up to date with employment legislation and best practice, communicating relevant information to the business.
Identify and plan future recruitment needs and work collaboratively with Sales Management to ensure an up to date job description and person specification is maintained for each vacancy.
Develop and maintain relationships with recruiters, external recruitment agencies and professional organizations. Point person for managing relationship/contracts/processes with identified third parties.
Performance & Talent Management
Support Sales Management in the identification, and development of high potential candidates within the team.
Partner with Sales Management to manage succession planning & career-planning of field/retail talent.
Learning & Development
Work in partnership with the management to identify, and implement non-branded soft skill trainings and other development programs.
Coordinate the creation and/or implementation of related trainings for retail.
- Maintains a pulse on employee engagement through frequent market visits and ongoing dialogue with employees.
HR Connect transactions as HR approver for Field Population (ensures accuracy and adherence to defined processes).
Well informed on external/competitive retail best practices and share internally with HR colleagues, recommend new and innovative programs and practices to positively impact the in-store culture, operations and retail performance, in line with Retail HR Strategy
