POSITION SUMMARY:

Representing the image, product and culture of the MAC brand, develop and foster relationships within the professional artistry community. Collaborate closely with cross-functional Global team to develop engagement, enabling facilitation of activations driving awareness and content for the brand, measuring and communicating results.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING / BRANDING

  • Strengthen existing relationships and forge new relationships within the professional artistry community with established and up-and-coming Makeup Artists

  • Research and proactively seek out opportunities for maximizing brand visibility

BUSINESS REPORTING / COMMUNICATIONS

  • Manage, re-design and maintain consistent platform for measuring and communicating Artist Relations ROI (ROI Workbook Tool)

  • Analyze and evaluate information. Provide insight and recommendations based on investment, media value achieved and ROI

  • Proficient use of tools including Tribe Analytics, producing reports to include tracking and creating “Best of…” reports

  • Manage regular updating of the Artist Relations Highlights site acting as liaison and providing support to Global teams as required

  • Oversee and improve process for capturing AR achievements (Media Value & Direct Sales) from international markets

  • Compile, produce and share Artist Relations Business Highlights to MLT quarterly

  • Oversee regular uploading and act as liaison for communication to regions for www.macartistrelations.com

SPECIAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Under guidance of Managers, act as project manager targeting high profile / seasonally relevant department initiatives (ie Olympics support, Disney education)

  • Communicate and collaborate to provide services identifying and planning required logistics for execution

  • Measure and communicate results

  • Support AR Team on execution and overseeing of backstage environments as required

  • Update and maintain supported artists data within Tribe platform

PERFORMING ARTS

  • Develop and implement objectives targeting support of performing arts associations to maximize brand visibility

  • Research, identify, initiate and cultivate relationships with established dance and opera companies. Identify new ones.

  • Advise, provide direction and communicate partnership details as required internally and externally

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Act as service provider for Cirque du Soleil activity building a strong relationship

  • Implement and oversee order submission and order tracking system, keeping within agreed terms

  • Manage expectations overseeing planned Social Media and Event activities, communicating details as required

  • Liaise between Forecasting (Marketing) and Cirque du Soleil regarding product needs and discontinued items

ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Manage department information tools and logs and presentation reports

  • Budget related tracking / monitoring

Qualifications

  • Position requires 4 years relevant work experience. Previous experience working with Artists an asset.

  • Independent, self-starter, well organized, detail oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills

  • Strong analytical, written/oral communication and problem solving skills

  • Team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross functional teams

  • Ability to handle a broad range of responsibilities and projects with multiple individuals

  • Proficiency and awareness of Social Media platforms

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Tribe
