As a member of the North America Region Corporate Communications team, the Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications (Digital) – North America plays a critical role in the management of communications and platforms that support the Company’s enterprise brand and regional strategy. Working closely with the Manager, Corporate Affairs and Communications, this role serves as a daily writer, in-house reporter, editor, content curator and community manager for the NA corporate “newsroom” including the regional intranet, corporate social media platforms, newsletters, videos and other communications. Manages the day-to-day development and execution of innovative digital corporate communications and content strategies and helps to shape a culture where multi-way internal communication is seen as fundamental and integral to the success of the organization. The candidate is a superb writer with a pulse on current technology and digital/social media best practices in corporate communications; also has an eye for the aesthetics of beautiful content creation/curation.


  • Create dynamic, engaging content and campaigns for all NA internal communications channels including intranet, video, email and social.

  • Operate as an in-house reporter for NA, producing multiple stories, vidoes, and content every week

  • Primary community manager/curator for the North America regional intranet and corporate social platforms. Responsible for posting all news and content on platforms

  • Serves as “listener in chief” on digital platforms, to identify key trends, insights and relevant topics from employee generated content to inform both editorial and business strategy

  • Work collaboratively to manage a robust editorial calendar for all digital platforms

  • Actively manage multiple digital campaigns a year from creative concept, to content creation, to production and follow up reporting

  • Develop and distribute regional newsletters/news flash updates

  • Support coordination of employee engagement events, townhalls, webcasts, etc.

  • Track measurements to ensure effectiveness of all digital communications

  • Expert on digital and social media communications best practices, tools and platform for corporate/enterprise communications

  • Coordinate various projects, working closely with the North Corporate Communiatinions team to advance communication priorities and develop effective integrated communication plans

  • Flexibility / Agility to work on ad hoc projects across other areas of NA Corporate Affairs and Communications team as needs frequently arise in this fast pace environment


  • Bachelor's Degree (Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Visual Design or Journalism preferred)

  • 3 - 5 years experience in corporate communications and internal employee communications

  • Strong experience managing digital communications and intranets in corporate environments, including editorial strategy development, content creation/curation, and platform/community management

  • Social/Digital expert with a passion for knowledge of the latest platforms, tools, best practices and demonstrated ability to drive innovative, engaging content that meets business needs

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and strong storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives in support of our business strategies, and the journalistic ability to source stories from employees

  • Ability to distill complex content into clear, concise and engaging communications, and able to produce content with speed and accuracy

  • Keen eye for detail and the aesthetics of beautiful content creation/curation

  • Ability to function effectively with rapidly changing priorities and demands and to remain calm under pressure

  • Ability to balance multiple projects / initiatives and deliver programs and tactics in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Self starter with a “make it happen” attitude, strong client focus, and excellent team player

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills and experience interfacing across all levels of leaders / employees to drive objectives

  • Able to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity, integrity and good judgment

  • Experience with PowerPoint, Sharepoint CMS, Keynote, Photoshop, and video production
