The North America (brand aligned) Project Manager for Open Sell Merchandising is responsible for managing NA open sell projects for Sephora, Ulta, Jean Coutu, Shoppers Drug Mart and US/Canada Department Stores) inclusive of seasonal updates, new door openings and retro fits in addition to launching new OS systems when appropriate. The position is responsible for driving the timeline, applying best practices to control project schedule and costs to ensure timely execution of on counter and install dates meeting the satisfaction of the NA Region. Projects are managed from ideation to execution, focusing on meeting project commitments, advocating on behalf of the Region and effectively communicating/elevating project risks to Sr. Brand Management to manage expectations.
Drive and manage the timelines for open sell seasonal updates and new door openings beginning with alerting the brans as to planogram due dates as this starts the project.
When Planogram is final, work with Procurement, Development and the Brand to ensure quote is within budget and development timeline aligns to meet the on counter/install dates.
Track all project milestone via status sheets (Smart Sheet). Issue status sheets to stakeholders so that all are aware of project status.
Drive open sell status meeting with business partners and participate in new door opening status meetings run by the RDDC Store Construction Team and Brand construction meetings.
Manage open sell planograms for all New Department Store Openings (inclusive of Canada). Partner with RDDC store construction team members and brand to ensure update is within budget and on time to deliver for install dates. Responsible for alerting Sr. Management if timing is not achievable.
Manage internal timelines with the RDDC Creative and Brand Creative (US/CA) teams to ensure artwork is approved and released on time.
Manage print production for updates and new door openings with the print supplier inclusive of quality control and delivery timing.
Responsible for on time delivery of tiles and print to the merchandising supplier building the shelves and assembled shelf delivery to either Retailer or Shop Fitter
Maintains consumed inventory for bulk shelf order and responsible for alerting brand when re-order needs to take place.
Responsible for timing and printing of graphic only updates and SRP only updates.
Position works directly with Nordstrom, Sephora and Ulta representatives and is expected to be able to communicate clearly and responsibly to maintain the relationship.
Expected to manage frequent changes, delays, unexpected events in a face-paced environment.
Experience in project management, operations and traffic
Experience required in working with Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Jean Coutu etc.
Understands process, organization, collaboration and technology
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, time management, presentation and problem solving skills
Must possess a sense of urgency, entrepreneurial working style, be organized and detail oriented
Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks and priorities in an ever-changing environment
