Serves as the voice of the brand to consumers while supporting the overall LAB SERIES Social and Digital Strategy in home market, New York, and internationally.
The role supports LAB SERIES efforts in driving engagement, brand affinity, acquisition of fans and customers, and omni-channel sales through organic and paid social media strategies.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects in a very fast-paced environment.
S/he is highly organized, a skilled communicator, and has a strong understanding of the social media landscape.
They must have a pulse on current trends and events in-order to pivot and respond on LAB SERIES behalf.
Social Media Management and Community Engagement:
Manage the 4 social media channels (FB, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube) and explore new platforms and apps that can improve the content on our own channels as well as the International channels
Day-to-day social media responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Fostering dialogue, answering questions or comments, and increasing engagement with consumers, advocates and influencers across all brand channels including global channels, influencer channels and advocate channels when necessary as well as engaging with (liking, sharing, etc.) posts from the international handles
o Community and content management which includes managing posts/status updates, writing captions for posts when necessary, monitoring trends, advising on potential opportunities and resolving issues
o Build an on-going library of existing UGC/IGC that can be leveraged appropriately and in a timely, relevant way
- Develop and issue Global Social Media Content Calendar to Global team:
o Work with the team Director to identify ways to continue evolving the brands social media channels making them as engaging as possible for our audiences
o Brief consumer-centric content needs on a monthly basis which serve to highlight trend gaps, competitive channel analysis, regional variants, product re-support, and exclusive programs etc.
o Align with Global Marketing team (and NA Marketing team when relevant) on Global marketing calendar and social assets to support business needs and brand benefit themes
o Partner with Global Communications to create big ideas for each program initiative (product launches or other)
Partner with Creative and Creative Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely availability of social assets for Global needs
Act as the Social / Digital point person for regional teams and support social / digital regional requests and projects
Drive social media “content by channel” asset dissemination in accordance with Global Content Strategy
Amplify all Influencer and consumer Initiatives, advocate programs and relevant content as well as regional and NA events when relevant
Support Global Communications with paid partnerships and campaigns leveraging brand ambassadors and locally relevant influencers (locally or in the regions)
Analytics and Data Reporting:
Own tracking and optimization of social media performance using global insight tools (Social Bakers, Synthesio, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics, Popular Chips)
Responsible for consistent social listening, monitoring and reporting on LAB SERIES conversations and sharing applicable content with the markets when the brand has been mentioned
Responsible for compiling reports providing key performance metrics, content performance
Research and stay up to date with competitor programs and provide on-going updates and new ideas in terms of digital and social
Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and creative techniques applicable to the brand and share with the immediate team during weekly team meetings
Strategy Development and Execution:
Assist the Director of Global, Social and Digital with the Social & Digital strategies and RRT decks
Work with the Director of Global, Social and Digital to identify culturally relevant moments for the brand to play throughout the year (both Internationally and in NA)
Ensure execution of social and digital marketing plans at the global / NA level following strategy as directed and to optimize investments
3 Years of relevant experience in social and digital
Direct Community Engagement experience is preferred
Multi-tasker who is able to quickly pivot when needed
A positive team player who is highly motivated with a strong drive to succeed and who works well with others
Interest in Men’s Skincare and Grooming with an innate curiosity to explore this unique, niche field
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across a team and deliver results
