B2B e-Commerce Project Lead

Description

This role is responsible for managing the design, development, piloting and full deployment of a B2B Retailer Collaboration Portal across the Estee Lauder Companies. This position will work with all the operating regions and affiliates to gather business requirements and work with ELC IT and the third party service providers to design, build and deploy the solution successfully.

  • Plans and leads the global requirements and design workshops to prioritize business requirements.

  • Manages the functional and technical design of the solution and ensures timely and high-quality development.

  • Plans and coordinates the testing of the solution against pre-defined business requirements

  • Manages deployment planning and readiness of the target affiliates for implementation.

  • Manages the project budget and benefit realization through appropriate performance metrics.

  • Works with the regional project leads to ensure appropriate level of planning is completed and project tracking and reporting cadence is followed.

  • Manages the development of all training materials and delivery of training to internal and external users.

  • Partners with the change management team to prepare and execute all critical org change and communication activities.

  • Provides visibility and management of risks and opportunities for the project and elevates to leadership where appropriate.

  • As needed:

o Acts as the primary business contact for ELC IT and third party service providers

o Creates and manages SOWs for approved scope of work

o Establishes and facilitates global and regional project governance

o Guides regions and affiliates in staffing and resourcing decisions

Qualifications

  • 10 years of work experience in Sales, marketing, customer service or related functions

  • 5 years of experience as a Business Lead on large and complex B2B e-Commerce projects

  • At least two complete implementations from concept to reality involving the retail business

  • Broad knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.

  • Working knowledge of end to end Order to Cash process and customer facing activities.

  • Working knowledge of SAP ERP & Hybris and other related technologies.

  • Experience managing budgets and benefit realization.

  • Ability to interact positively with a diverse group of individuals.

  • Experience managing 3rd party vendors, including systems integration and other technology vendors.

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience.

  • Good written and verbal communication

  • Desire and ability to mentor staff and project teams.

  • Must be independent and detail oriented.

  • Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems

  • Consultative skills such as workshop facilitation, process walkthroughs, etc.

  • Strong change management and negotiation skills with ability to work within a matrix-run organization

  • Beauty industry experience preferred but not required
