Coordinator, Bobbi Brown Product Development

Brand: Bobbi Brown


Reports to Managers of product categories. Responsible for initiating and tracking projects through development process in order to create the highest quality products while meeting timelines.


Vendor & TPM Meetings

  • Coordinate all vendor meetings and issue recaps. Ensure that meeting rooms are reserved ahead of time.

o Update LRP document, update LRP trays with samples

o 1st PD status of month: review new vendor formula samples and LRP document

Project Management

  • Attend and participate in all status and PPD, Program Review meetings

  • Complete Competitive Analysis document for new products, combining input from APAC PD team

  • Send bi-weekly samples and briefs/profiles sent to APAC PD team for feedback

  • Update new development status document

  • Distribute product to cross functional teams

o CE, Marketing, Creative, Global President

  • Coordinate all product testing

o Makeup Artist Testing: create questionnaires, provide samples to Education, track due dates and results, issue results analysis.

  • Marketing Bulletin: Input lineup, codes, shade swatches and any updates needed

Calendar and Meeting Management

  • Coordinating inter-departmental meetings as needed, arranging off-site visits when necessary

  • Ensure all trays and agendas for meetings are prepared by EOD day before meetings. Schedule pre-meets for SM meetings and where necessary

  • Issue recaps for all meetings by the end of the week

  • Coordinate monthly MUA status and Long-Range concept meetings

  • Coordinate Vice President’s travel

  • Manage Vice President’s calendar

Ongoing Needs

  • Ensure working stations are organized and clean end of every day

  • Pull standards for QA and standard re-establishments. Compare to existing product standard, provide feedback on shade and texture for category leads to review before giving final feedback

  • Inform team on upcoming trends, creating and issuing bi-weekly reports focused on new product launches, trend ingredients and color, and trends outside of the makeup industry – utilizing WWD, WGSN, Google Trends, etc.

  • Working with APAC and MUAs to track and report on new trends so that we can incorporate into new development – color, ingredients, usage, forms, hacks


  • Degree or equivalent experience with 1 years

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with a high level of detail

  • Excellent time-management skills

  • Excellent partnering/teamwork skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
