PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVE: Manage administrative responsibilities supporting Package Development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development Project Tracking

 Aggressively manage and maintain project timetables and tracking sheet to assist the Package Development team and assemble project schedules for submission to Global Brand Supply Chain (GBSC).

 Develop and maintain working relationships with suppliers and internal support groups as required by Package Developer to ensure they are providing the latest project information and request revised development schedules as necessary.

 Assist Package Developer to track key project tasks (IE: Drawing approvals, Sample submissions, Artwork, Package Testing, Transit Testing etc…)

 Assist Package Developers maintain and update Timeline Management System.

Package Definition System (PDS /Specification System)

 Gather and input all technical and environmental packaging information into the PDS System.

 Issue standards for new components; coordinate delivery of standards and record date received by supplier.

Package Testing System

 With Package Developer assistance, assemble required test components and validate the proper quantity and information is present.

 Input test data into RDS (Package Testing System) and review with appropriate Package Developer.

 Track status for all testing and components / bulk for Department and follow-up with Package Testing, R&D, Supplier and Developer as required.

General Administration

 Organizes internal and external meetings/ conference calls with suppliers and internal customers.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College /University graduate preferred.

  • 2 - 3 years previous work experience, preferably in an international environment.

  • Excellent administrative, written and verbal skills.

  • Excellent Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access

  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.

  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects at a time.

  • Be able to work independently.
