Description

This New Product Launch (NPL) Senior Data Manager is responsible for extracting, analyzing, reporting, and deriving insights from NPL data to inform on business results relative to innovation data. Primary duties include working with cross-branded teams to analyze data and deriving insights and analytics from the data in order to understand the business aspects and determine root cause to support continuous improvement.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage Existing Innovation Data & Reporting:

 Manage existing data for use by the business

 Collaborate with the business to ensure data accuracy and integrity

 Derive insights from NPL data to inform on business results relative to innovation data

 Analyze data and provide insights to the business for continuous improvement actions in support of business decisions

 Elevate process inequities to leadership once data is analyzed and actions plans are in place

 Ensure consistency of data and use of standardized process for reporting across brands, regions, and functions

 Research data anomalies

 Document processes required to support sharing of data within and across brands

 Maintain processes and procedures and communicate changes to business

 Participate in meetings that involve analyzing NPL data

 Work with NPL GPO to ensure data’s integrity for use by the business

  1. Evolve and Transform Innovation Data & Reporting:

 Gather and prioritize new requirements and updates to existing processes and technology

 Continuously evolve NPL metrics and reporting aligning with ongoing business transformation

 Proactively suggest improvements related to improving data integrity and supporting processes to NPL GPO

 Work with NPL GPO to align on future state NPL metrics to support business needs

 Leverage existing and/or new data analytic repositories

 Partner with corporate data analytic teams to ensure NPL data is sufficiently represented and maintained

 Act as main point of contact to the business for NPL data related inquiries

 Ensure proper business utilization of data

Key deliverables

  • Analysis of existing data and insights to the business for continuous improvement actions in support of business decisions, developing insights from NPL data to inform on business results, and establishment and governance of supporting processes and definition of new processes/process updates

  • Updated innovation statistics for reporting to Operating Committee, Branded Cross-Functional Community of Practices, Global Service, Global Value Council (GVC), Supply Chain Operating Team (SCOT), and others as needed

Qualifications

-Bachelor Degree

-5 years minimum experience

  • Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge

  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail while keeping strategic end goal in mind

  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to develop solutions to support corporate goals

  • Process oriented

  • Experience working with internal and external teams

  • Ability to self-manage under tight deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required

  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues at various levels
