Director, Consumer Engagement, Aramis and Designer Fragrances North America

Brand: Aramis and Designer Fragrances

Description

Director, North America Media is responsible for the development and

management of Aramis & Designer Fragrances consumer and trade media

strategies, including planning and executing effective media mix in line with

brand marketing objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Media Strategy & Effectiveness

  • Lead partnership efforts with North America Marketing, GlobalMedia & Communications, and well as ELC Corporate resource groups toidentify media priorities and evaluate effective media strategies whichensure business objectives are met

  • Direct trade advertising support towards strategic initiativesacross co-op media channels in partnership with North America Marketing,Sales and E-Commerce

  • Plan and execute effective consumer segmentation, targeting andmedia mix based on brand media briefs

  • Manage agency performance to drive meaningful value to ourbusiness, deliver on strategic objectives and maximize use of all agencyresources

  • Define seasonal budget & guidelines for Sales, manage turnovercontent for Playbook and Sell Book

  • Provide actionable analysis of program effectiveness to bothSales and Marketing groups seasonally

  • Facilitate the communication and understanding of brandpriorities and brand standards across agency partners, trade channels andfunctional groups

  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of media strategy andplans to Marketing/Finance/Sales/Global

  • Liaise with Licensors on seasonal program development, presentadvertising strategies seasonally for approval

  • Develop NA PR strategy in alignment with the Global PR strategy,manage local agency performance

  • Continuously monitor and investigate key competitive tactics andrecommend new media opportunities

  • Coordinate with Production/Creative to ensure all advertisingcampaign materials are developed, approved and released within productiontimelines

  • Manage media schedules to ensure their adherence to licensorguidelines and contractual agreements

  • Guide agency and media owners on the development and execution of360 degree marketing and added value programs that maximize brandobjectives and brand equity

  • Responsible for budget development and implementation acrossconsumer and trade media

  • Assist Executive Director in managing overall advertising financedeck

  • Collaborate with functional groups to continuously leverageplanned media to maximize message impact and media effectiveness,inclusive of Global Consumer Engagement and Communications

  • Oversee workflow and talent development for Manager ConsumerEngagement

  • Based on brand guidelines, ensure retailers are provided with allmaterials need to execute coop ads

  • Responsible for approval process to ensure adherence to brandstandards, managed within internal (ADF and licensor) and external(retailer) timelines, and approval by senior management

  • Maintain Passport and check that all entries meetadvertising/programmable guidelines

Execution

  • Coordinate with Production/Creative to ensure all advertisingcampaign materials are developed, approved and released within productiontimelines

  • Manage media schedules to ensure their adherence to licensorguidelines and contractual agreements

  • Guide agency and media owners on the development and execution of360 degree marketing and added value programs that maximize brandobjectives and brand equity

  • Responsible for local PR agency performance

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

8 years related experience.

Bachelor degree is required.

Highly organized and detail oriented with

a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Must be a self-starter with project

management skills and a proactive approach to ensure all deliverables.

Strong analytical skills combined with a

high level of creativity.

Must possess excellent computer skills

with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
