This position will be the content-development lead on the newly established Travel Retail Worldwide Cross-Branded Corporate Education team. This Director will partner with the Executive Director to re-purpose and develop all necessary content for the new cross-branded education function. The Content lead will also partner closely with the ED to test and develop motivational tools and programs to ensure the effectiveness of each program


Content Creation and Curation

  • Support ED in developing or adapting already created training modules for

o Retail Selling – Selling best practices

o Brand DNA information

o Hero-product/franchise cross selling

o Passenger Targeting – Cultural likes/dislikes/preferences for Chinese-traveling-consumer, Middle Easterners, Brits, Russians, Brazilians, etc. (through partnership with regions and shopper-insights team)

o Excellence in social-media usage

  • Lead content contact with global education teams, Regional Education Managers, Education and Selling Centers of Excellence, Shopper Insights

o Partner with global education teams to understand all newly available product and brand content to ensure that TR e-learning is up-to-date

o Partner with regional education teams to ensure all content is relevant for TR

o Partner with selling center of excellence to adapt appropriate brand agnostic information modules for BA usage

o Partner with other regional education COE’s and potentially utilize other regionally created content that is also relevant for TR.

  • Act as information gatekeeper for information – help designate what content will be useful/engaging and what won’t be as helpful/relevant for the purposes of Travel Retail.

o Ensure that the way communication is communicated is relevant for Travel Retail (e.g. shorter sound bites vs. longer stories)

  • Partner with Travel Retail team members such as Product Innovation and Integrated Marketing teams to generate excitement and understanding for exclusive TR offerings and POS activations

Translation and Administration

  • Lead all translation activity in conjunction with the regions

  • Develop tracking system and keep track of all content and visuals used on the platform to ensure the timeliness of removal should content needs change or imagery expires

  • Lead contact with Indirect Procurement team and translation agency


  • 8 years related experience

  • Ability to distill complex concepts into simply and clearly communicated information

  • Strong preference for prior experience in field sales and/or education

  • Background in CPG, Beauty, Personal Care, Luxury Goods with a preference for Beauty sold through distribution channels with Beauty Salespeople (Department Stores, Specialty-Multi, Free Standing Stores) as opposed to drugstore/superstore or online-only distribution

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, especially for audiences where English is second or third language

  • Passion for or curiosity about adult learning and e-learning

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Enthusiastic team-player with high-level of emotional intelligence

  • Ability to be flexible and grow and change with the evolution of the role and the team

  • Passion for multi-national environments and multi-cultural consumers
