Description and Key Responsibilities:
This position within the NA Finance, Strategy and Business Management team supports the strategic planning, annual budgeting, P&L management and monthly estimate deliverables for the Origins brand. Perform analysis on key investment areas to drive sales growth and strategically direct resources between Channels of Distribution and within specific areas of spend such as Selling, Advertising and Promotion.
Partner with Marketing team in developing, evaluating and monitoring investment choices in Advertising and Promotion to ensure the brand investment delivers optimum return in line with brand strategy.
Partner with Marketing to evaluate the potential of new product launches and evaluate the post launch performance of new product. Ensure results and learnings are shared and incorporated into future launch investment and resource allocation decisions.
Evaluate and monitor SKU productivity and make recommendations for optimizing the brand SKU assortment.
Work with Account Management team to plan, build and evaluate Retailer strategies and investment choices to deliver strategic objectives, improve customer profitability and manage tradeoffs between retail partners to maximize total brand profitability.
Work closely with the Free Standing Store business and operations teams to ensure appropriate allocation of resources, evaluate changes in distribution (open/close locations), and drive door profitability and productivity.
Participate in the development of long range strategy, financial objectives and monitor performance vs. strategic objectives.
Partner with Brand teams to lead the development of the annual budget and monthly estimates.
Participate in monthly brand consensus and SI&OP meetings to improve planning accuracy and reduce inventory.
Lead monthly financial meetings with brand departments.
Participate in North America Regional transformation projects.
Seek out or develop best practice and lessons learned from within the organization in order to assist brand partners in making better business decisions.
10 years of financial planning and analysis experiences, MBA preferred.
Strong analytical skills required to perform value added FP&A responsibilities.
Ability to collaborate and drive cross-functional consensus.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills necessary
Proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems; Hyperion & SAP knowledge a plus
Proactive individual looking to continuously take on additional responsibility and improve processes and procedures.
Experience in a fast moving consumer products industry preferred.
Ability to work independently and in groups.
