OneSource is a new Integrated Shared Services organization designed to help fuel the growth of the Estee Lauder Companies by delivering high touch and high quality shared services. This role will be responsible helping to ensure that OneSource adopts, and embeds Agile into their operating model to drive more value creation and bring the capabilities to market faster. This role is also responsible for ensuring that the operational and executional mechanics of the Enabling Technology across OneSource is optimized and running efficiently.

Scrum and Agile Methodology

  • Develop / champion Scrum methodologies and adoption across OneSource technology service delivery teams

  • Drive the adoption of a DevOps tools chain which achieves continuous deployment using integrated and automated testing

  • Work with the OneSource LT to understand priorities and items to be groomed in upcoming sprints

  • Drive backlog grooming sessions across Scrum teams, ensuring work items are estimated and ‘ready-for-work’

  • Work with other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment of priorities and that dependencies are delivered in the appropriate sprints

  • Consolidate and publish cross scrum team sprint plans and ensure consistency and timeliness of visibility

  • Track Scrum team velocity, capacity, consumable hours and funding to ensure accuracy of future planning and execution

  • Coach Scrum teams and OneSource organization on scrum and DevOps principles

  • Manage and coordinate technology release planning processes across Scrum teams

  • Lead and participate in sprint planning sessions ensuring the commitments made are appropriate and uphold scrum principles

  • Lead scrum teams retrospectives and ensure key learning is incorporated into future sprints

  • Participate in activities related to Agile adoption across OneSource and the enterprise

OneSource IT Operations

  • Assist in the development of the OneSource IT strategic plan, ensuring alignment with overall OneSource LT and IT strategies

  • Monitor and manage that the OneSource IT strategy, financials, and operations are optimized and running efficiently

  • Manage the technology operating and communications drumbeat across OneSource

  • Manage the OneSource Technology Matrix and related key metrics and information

  • Define, maintain, and govern an integrated testing methodology and framework to ensure quality during projects & migrations

  • Lead Defect Management during Hypercare and SIT for releases and sprint deployments

  • Participate in OneSource Work Planning meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks

  • Manage the OneSource Release Cycles coordinating planning across IT DTO teams

  • Consolidate and validate portfolios across OneSource IT DTO teams; for both OneSource and non-OneSource projects

  • Lead operational and portfolio reviews with IT DTO, OneSource Leadership and IT Governance key stakeholders


Job and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels

  • Fosters and builds a collaborative working relationship with various stakeholders

  • Experience in IT strategic planning and financial management

  • Experience as a Scrum Master for at least two years in an IT Department that diligently applied Scrum practices and tools

  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.

  • Experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.-Minimum 10 years of experience
