The primary role of this position is to lead the design and delivery of R&D, Packaging, Product Innovation, New Product Development & Introduction and New Product Launch.
The leader is required to work with Corporate functions – R&D and Supply Chain - creating integration and synergies to optimize New Product Launch(NPL) portfolio contribution to the bottom line.
The departments in scope include R&D, Global Brand Supply Chain, Corporate Innovation, Product Development, and Packaging,
The process scope includes managing requirements for New Production Development and Introduction across all brands, regions and functions.
- Responsible for R&D (Corporate Innovation, Formulation, Packaging) and NPL (New Product Launch) solution and process
a. Responsible for the short and long term (1, 3, 5-year) master plan of the solution and process.
b. Accountable for the applications supporting R&D and NPL processes to ensure continual improvement of the application portfolio to deliver low TCO and high business value
- Responsible for managing business stakeholder relationships to ensure a well-coordinated and collaborative design and execution of solutions
a. Proactively manages business stakeholder relationships that include Business Process Owner, SVPs, VPs, Executive Directors and other business team members and customers.
b. Creates trust and influence to lead the business to adapt effective solutions aligned with the application portfolio roadmap.
c. Creates effective relationship with GIS departments to ensure a well-coordinated and collaborative execution of solutions.
d. Works closely with the business stakeholders on technology strategy and business case development. Manages technical feasibility analysis, and financial analysis of proposed process and technical solutions.
- Manages the effective execution and implementation of projects in the R&D and NPL solution space.
a. Ensure production releases meet business expectations and adhere to GIS standards.
b. Strong knowledge of Program Management, Project Management, Agile and SDLC/Release management processes.
c. Effective communication with business stakeholders and project stakeholders.
- Ensures adherence to SDLC, FDA Validation and Change Control management processes

Experienced in management with proven ability to lead and collaborate in a multi-disciplined, multi-location, multi-vendor environment
Experienced in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) processes in a Fortune 500 CPG company.
Experienced in managing R&D, Packaging, Product Innovation, New Product Development & Introduction and New Product Launch processes in a highly dynamic corporate landscape across multiple brands
Knowledge of GxP (Good Clinical/Manufacturing/Documentation practices), FDA Validation and CFR 21 Part 11.
Knowledge of PLM applications and SAP ERP a plus
