Brand: Aramis and Designer Fragrances


The Global Brand & Digital Copywriter is responsible for the translation of licensor tone of voice to all fragrance-related consumer touchpoints. Their job is to bring the ADF portfolio brands to life in an elevated and authentic way that tells compelling stories through the lens of fragrance. These include: Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger, Donner Karan, DKNY, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Aramis.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Partner with licensors to translate the Fashion House tone of voice to consumer touchpoints, creating a clear strategy which translates across platforms

  • Develop and implement best in class digital copy and language principles against priority ADF digital platforms: owned websites, social media channels, mobile, eCRM, meta data and URL strategy, SEM/SEO


  • Product Launches: Lead the creation of copy across platforms, ensuring consistency with Fashion House tone of voice while identifying cross-platform content efficiencies to maximize ROI

-Press: Press releases, Q&As, corporate communications, pitches

  • Translate the olfactive positioning into consumer-friendly language

-Digital: SEM, URL strategy, Meta Data, PDPs

  • Provide copy for all digital media buys via best-in-class approach headlines

  • Liaise with licensors to ensure digital activities incorporate:

  • Consistency of messaging between Fashion & Fragrance projects

  • Consistency of messaging across fragrance launches

-Social Media: Cross-channel content calendar, YouTube copy (with integrated SEO)

  • Facebook and Instagram content posts

  • YouTube video descriptions and tagging strategy

  • Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram Stories and regional platforms as needed

-ECRM: Launch and leverage ECRM

  • Create a consistent flow of messages that drive consumer engagement with brand products (new launches and hero fragrances) segmented by target

  • Always-On Deliverables:

-Website: Partner with Creative and Consumer Marketing team to develop and maintain a consistent content pipeline in support of retailer and licensor websites; product refreshes every quarter

-Social Media: Collaborate with Consumer Marketing and Creative teams to craft an always-on social media calendar for each brand within ADF


  • Provide the team with updates & education regarding inspiring creative campaigns within the category and adjacent industries

  • Review and analyze ADF campaigns to provide thoughtful and actionable recommendations to achieve business goals

  • Keep abreast of digital trends and recommend integration into projects where relevant, identifying opportunity to add value to projects and extend brand presence


  • Degree required

  • 5-7 years experience

  • Creative experience in digital and/or communications field at agency or in-house with portfolio of output (upon request)

  • Proven, extensive experience in digital and social media copywriting development (short form and long form)

  • Technical copywriting skills (metadata, URL, SEM)

  • Flexibility and adaptability – an individual who can work individually on a project as well as in a team environment

  • Strong command of a brand tone of voice and how it can be expressed consistently across multiple channels

  • Understanding of fashion and design industries and the approach that surrounds the communications

  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
