Estee Lauder Companies is looking for a talented Human Resources Program Manger to lead the Talent Exchange Program. This is a newly initiated program within the Human Resources function and will initially focus on our talents’ capability growth, knowledge sharing and relationship building with the plan to scale to other markets and other capabilities (starting with China/US/UK). The program will offer both China and Global talent a unique opportunity to build critical capabilities in key focus areas, including: cross culture exposure, exchange knowledge/skills between China and Global in key capability areas, develop China talents’ global mindset, equip Global talents’ China knowhow, accelerate working efficiency and effectiveness by removing obstacles, and build up network across ELC. The Program Manager will be responsible for successfully implementing and running the Talent Exchange Program. The program manager will partner with various stakeholders (Mobility, Regions, etc.) to ensure successful program management, talent engagement, and track record of success. The Program Manager will report to the Vice President, Global Talent.

Leadership – 35%

  • Management of approximately 20-25 internal talent (globally) exchanges. Select internal participants and successfully run program assignments.

  • Coordination and management of global Talent Exchange Program assignments and exchanges (short/long-term) in partnership with HRBPs, global Mobility, regional leads

  • Development of the global Talent Exchange Program ensuring alignment with Corporate Compass, Strategy, and Business Priority Pivots

Problem Solving & Decision Making – 30%

  • Creation of yearly assignment agendas – per assignment type – in key areas of the business

  • Partner on creating the 3 years strategic talent exchange plan to support sustainable business growth and build up long-term talent pipeline that provides scalable format for broader implementation

Budget Responsibility – 25%

  • Manage budget for the talent exchanges (take into account the incremental cost per person, type/length of assignment, and number of employees participating in the exchange)

  • Meet with HR Finance Controller, HR for HR and global Mobility on a monthly basis to review the Talent Exchange Program’s strategy and business plan; update Global Talent leadership on budget overages/cost savings on a regular basis; manage invoice process

Independence of Action and Accountability – 10%

  • Tracking and facilitation of key assessments and development sessions as identified by the Program Manager in partnership with the Director, Global Talent – track movement, performance, success

  • Allocate, influence, and leverage team resources according to departmental and project needs

  • Develop strong working relationships with brand, region, and function regional leads to maintain learning experiences aligned with strategic priorities
