Project Manage all Creative project requests associated with the Alibaba Group (Tmall) program. Position will be responsible for tracking all assets developed by the Creative and Editorial teams, including photography, social media, ecommerce, and special event support from inception to completion, providing communication to all departments involved regarding quality, timelines and budgets.


  • Track development of all Alibaba Group assets, including: photography, image crops, copy, banners, emails, social media, event, ecommerce site, video, live stream, editorial/PR, and special assets (product, bags, etc) from inception through production and delivery.

  • Thoroughly review and gather all pertinent information for asset requests to develop strategy and schedules for creative execution.

  • Coordinate and oversee each phase of the internal and external approval process, including: copy, translations, layouts, proofing, formats and final art.

  • Monitor progress of projects through the creative and production process by constant, clear communication and coordination with Global Headquarters, APAC Regional Office and the China Affiliate Office.

  • Work hand-in-hand with the dedicated TFB design team in the China Office to develop assets and anticipate the launch and maintenance requirements of the program as outlined in approved content calendars.

  • Manage the production of photography assets: working with the China affiliate contact to gather correct product, working with Creative Design to provide photography briefs, and tracking all images for appropriate delivery of crops/formats.

  • Develop strategies for situations where processes do not exist; identify out-of-date processes and work with the above departments to develop new ones.

  • Inform all parties on timeline or budget issues and provide plans to address.

  • Continuously maintain/update asset status reports.

  • Keep an accurate archive of all assets produced and delivered.

-Self-motivated ownership of projects and follow through.

-Ability to build strong professional relationships and provide exceptional “customer service” to teams in the US, Hong Kong and China.

-Excellent knowledge of digital formats, both static and animated, for ecommerce, ads, live stream and others.

-Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
