Effectively manage assigned projects for global launch initiatives in the category from inception of project to shipment of product through the Supply Chain organization, ensuring goals of cost effectiveness, timeliness, and inventory management are met. Manage the development of all materials necessary to support new product introductions including samples, display and collateral items. Assess risk level for projects that are off track and communicate risk assessment to senior management for transparency and decision making.

  • Manage the efficient and effective execution of new products and Marketing initiatives to the global marketplace. Provide guidance as necessary in the development and monitoring of projects using all necessary systems.

  • Develop new launch timelines in the Time Line Management System (TLM) ensuring consensus of milestone dates from respective business units including Marketing, Packaging, R&D, Product Development, Creative, New Product Planning, GSR and Manufacturing Engineering.

  • Systematically launch projects in TLM system and track gate completion and associated risk level, ensuring all milestone dates are monitored and maintained on a weekly basis to reflect project status.

  • Resolve all timeline issues and negotiate with appropriate cross-functional team to develop tactical plans when missed due dates occur to bring project back on track. Also notify management of critical issues and next steps.

  • Liaison with Marketing, Product Development, Packaging, Creative, R&D, GSR and Manufacturing Engineering in all areas as they relate to product-to-market timelines.

  • Lead regularly schedule meetings with NPP site groups (including 3rd party as needed) to review and update project status as it relates to manufacturing milestones, addressing any outstanding issues.

  • Participate in regularly scheduled PPD meetings to review projects with core project team-- Marketing, Packaging, Product Development, GSR, and Demand Planning. Identify next actions steps and decisions required by Senior Management.

  • Identify and implement contingency plans as required.

  • Track the merchandising and non-saleable elements supporting launch from inception to launch shipment (samples, displays, collateral), working with Indirect Procurement team as needed.

  • Review and approve all packaging artwork and ensure corporate packaging guidelines are adhered to.

  • Liaise with PDM with regard to input and maintenance of bills of material, item definition, and manufacturing locations utilizing the Package Definition System (PDS).

  • Communicate product discontinuations to Basic Business group and Operations.

  • Coordinate with Corporate Regulatory team as well as local market regulatory teams on all issues regarding product registration (New Products, Reformulations, Repackaging, Production Transfers, and Discontinued Products).

  • Liaise with International markets & Brand Supply Management (BSM) on execution or service issues relating to new product introductions.

  • Help facilitate new product offerings and forecast approvals through the Global Marketing Website.

  • Review and maintain Excess and Obsolete inventory monthly in relation to new product launch excess, saleable & collateral, inputting comments and feedback to allow proper NPP action.

  • Oversee and ensure Lab Samples are received in a timely fashion; liaise with Lab Sample Coordinator on projects.

  • Assist in training and on boarding new team members as required. Coordinate special projects as needed.


  • Must be an excellent team player with strong analytical, negotiating, and communication skills.

  • Excellent follow up and organizational skills required.

  • Must possess the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and yet be flexible with an ever-changing environment.

  • Ability to use computer systems necessary to meet department objectives including Excel, Word, EXOB, PDS, SAP, TLM, and GMW.

  • Candidate will be based in the New York Office.
