Effectively manage assigned projects for global launch initiatives in the category from inception of project to shipment of product through the Supply Chain organization, ensuring goals of cost effectiveness, timeliness, and inventory management are met. Manage the development of all materials necessary to support new product introductions including samples, display, and collateral.

  • Manage the efficient and effective execution of new products and Marketing initiatives to the global marketplace. Provide guidance as necessary in the development and monitoring of projects using all necessary systems.

  • Develop new launch time lines in the Time Line Management System (TLM) ensuring consensus of milestone dates from respective business units including Marketing, Packaging, R&D, Product Development, Creative, New Product Purchasing/GSR and Manufacturing.

  • Systematically launch projects in TLM system ensuring all milestone dates are monitored and maintained on a weekly basis to reflect project status.

  • Resolve all time line issues and negotiate with appropriate department and develop tactical plans when missed due dates occur to bring project back on track. Also notifying management of critical issues and next steps.

  • Liaison with Marketing, Product Development, Packaging, Creative, R&D, GSR in all areas as they relate to product-to-market time lines.

  • Lead regularly schedule meetings with NPP site groups (including 3rd party as needed) to review and update project status as it relates to manufacturing milestones, addressing any outstanding issues.

  • Participate in regularly scheduled PPD meetings to review projects with core project team-- Marketing, Packaging, Product Development, GSR, and Demand Planning. Identify next actions steps and decisions required by Senior Management.

  • Identify and implement contingency plans as required.

  • Track the merchandising and non-saleable elements supporting launch for inception to launch shipment (samples, displays, collateral) working with Assist in the feasibility / preliminary costing process for new products. Investigate and help resolve issues with focus factories / cost accounting.

  • Review and approve all packaging artwork and ensure corporate packaging guidelines are adhered to.

  • Liase with PDM with regard to input and maintenance of bills of material, item definition, and manufacturing locations utilizing the Package Definition System (PDS).

  • Communicate product discontinuations to Basic Business group and Operations

  • Coordinate with Regulatory on all issues regarding product registration and alert markets of all Reformulations, Repackaging, Production Transfers, Discontinued Products, and China registration.

  • Liaise with International markets & Global Product Supply (GPS) on execution or service issues relating to new product introductions.

  • Execute new product offerings and forecast approvals through the International Marketing Website. Will need to maintain all code master file information within DRP.

  • Review and maintain EXOB monthly in relation to new product launch excess, saleable & collateral, inputting comments and feedback to allow proper NPP action.

  • Oversee and ensure Marketing First Production samples are received in a timely fashion; liaison with North America Customer Service.

  • Assist in training and on boarding new team members as required. Coordinate special projects as needed.

Qualifications

-College/University Degree Required

-5 Years Minimum Experience

  • Must be an excellent team player with strong analytical, negotiating, and communication skills.

  • Excellent follow up and organizational skills required.

  • Must possess the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and yet be flexible with an ever-changing environment.

  • Ability to use computer systems necessary to meet department objectives including Excel, Word, EXOB, PDS, GCS, SAP, TLM, and IMW.

  • Candidate will be based in the New York Office.
