Travel Retail is one of the fastest growing, dynamic, and fast paced channels in the world.
The TOM FORD BEAUTY Travel Retail Worldwide Marketing Manager supports the Marketing Director to drive our fast growing global business. Key focus areas will include: development of digital/social activations and strategy and management of the TRWW marketing calendar.
This person will manage multiple projects simultaneously. He/she will work collaboratively across many teams including Global and Regional teams, and cross-functional partners (Demand Planning, Distribution, Finance, Merchandising, Digital) being a key contact for day to day requests on TOM FORD BEAUTY to ensure all marketing needs are met as well as long-term growth objectives.
Manage Implementation of Global strategy in Regions
Lead all aspects of consumer engagement marketing, align on big bets to build a strong and coherent 360 marketing calendar and clear strategy. Make recommendations and adapt strategy to each market and communicate efficiently to all regions for implementation.
Manage the TR 360 Marketing Calendars. Issue weekly to Regional Marketing Team and monthly to the Global brand.
Manage the communication of all Go to Market launches, collaborating with the Global creative and Global Consumer Digital Marketing media teams to ensure programs are tailored to the Travel retail channel.
Support development of regional media and marketing plan
Manage the development of TR Exclusive programs and launches, review concepts and assets. Forecast requirements and support the creation of visual merchandising and develop promotional elements to support the launch.
Drive consumer-facing activation through robust events in TR. Track and share new beauty immersive experience event activations. Develop and strengthen consumer engagement facing with the Global event and VM team to attract consumers and increase sales. Ensure that design can be implemented in all regions and for key global retailers.
Develop the media strategy for TR. Increase brand awareness and drive conversion with adequate media spend focusing on locally relevant big bets and heroes.
Support in developing our digital and social strategies for all key campaigns and launches, create briefs, and proposals to drive engagement with travelling consumers on our digital and social platforms partnering with TR Integrated Marketing team and our regional and brand partners.
Identify and leverage business opportunities through new social media. Provide all information to Global to get new media channels approved to amplify content and improve conversion performance in TR.
Manage communication between Global and the regional teams
Manage all regional consumer engagement requests and make decisions on how the requests effectively and efficiently meet business objectives and strategies. Meet weekly with the Global brand team to seek approvals and be the main point of contact for fulfilling regions’ needs.
Manage assets for TR by creating asset concept brief according to beauty trend and regions’ needs. Work with Global to get personalized assets with consistent branding and proper message to better resonate with TR consumers.
Cultivate close collaborative relationships with NY partners, Global Brand, Regional teams and Local Market teams. Act as key point person for TR WW managing day to day 360 consumer engagement requests from regional and global teams. Lead communication with each regional marketing team (Miami, London & Singapore) to ensure their needs (creative, visual merchandising, media, etc.) are met.
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare monthly consumer engagement analysis including digital activation results, retail sales results, new doors opening and promotional activation. Provide report to TRWW brand team and Global brand team.
Responsible for the creation of marketing presentations for sales meetings and retailer presentations. Present clear TR WW strategy during sales meetings and cluster meetings.
College degree required (BA/BS)
Minimum 5 years of marketing and operational experience
A strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced lean environment, and adapt to changes quickly when needed
Excellent team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with cross-functional partners, regional teams, and the licensor
Tech savvy with strong communication skills: ability to present details (written and oral) to senior management in a clear and concise manner
Results oriented, ability to both develop/embrace big picture objectives and have proactive and un-prompted follow-through to drive impeccable and timely project completion
Digital and social media skills a plus, awareness of Asia market social media platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP/BI
Luxury brand experience a plus
