Brand: Le Labo
About Le Labo
Labo is a niche perfume company, born in Grasse and raised in New York City.
sparked a revolution ten years ago and today we remain unconventional in the
luxury perfumery market.
fragrance is freshly hand-blended and each label is personalized before the
eyes of our clients at the moment of purchase.
in everything we do - from fragrances creations to where we choose to open a
new boutique - our primary mission is to share the beauty of our craft with the
world. It is more than just product; Le Labo offers sensorial experiences,
memories and a point of view. It is a lifestyle.
distribution is intentionally selective: 30 lab-boutiques worldwide and
limited corners with curated partners.
are also a recent addition to the Estee Lauder family.
Manifesto of the company
by our founders, it is our backbone in everything we do.
We believe that there are too many bottles of perfume and not enough soulful
believe the soul of a fragrance comes from the intention with which it is
created and the attention with which it is prepared
believe fine perfumery must create a shock - the shock of the new, combined
with the shock of the intimately familiar
believe that fine perfumery must be irreverent
believe it is more humane to test cosmetics on New Yorkers than on
believe celebrities should pay full price
believe the future of luxury (hence of perfumery) lies in craftsmanship
believe in the soulful power of thoughtful hands: hand-picked roses,
hand-poured candles, hand-formulated perfumes and handshake agreements
believe in the passionate souls who work close to us
believe in Hafiz's take on life : "Act great, dear. Always act great”
believe New York made us this way, with a dose of Wabi-Sabi and a few lines
believe we/you should put away our modern tools and take the time to smell the
roses along the way
believe that we are only young once, but we can be immature forever
we believe that explanation kills art. Therefore, forget about all of this
About the Job
Labo is currently experiencing a very rare and special moment in a brand.
are fortunate enough to be growing and expanding our cult following at an
exponential rate and we would like to adapt and scale our internal organization
accordingly. It is paramount during this growth period, that we preserve the
values of our unique business model and mission: slow perfumery, man-made
approach, and mindfulness in everything we do.
