Principal Objective

Drive retailsales in Macys Herald Square through counter coaching, artistry training andevent participation.

Accountabilities

  • Collaboratewith Sales Counter Manager and work closely with the Business Manager toidentify Education & Training needs of the overall business

  • Determineand address the needs of individual Consultants in concert with the overallbusiness objectives

  • Work with the EducationExecutive and Sales Executives to implement training techniques and todeliver product updates

  • Work in conjunction withSales/Operations Managers to track Educational objectives-ELearning,Activation Rallies, GWP Educational Planning, Seasonal Schools andTrainings

  • Thisposition will be evaluated on monthly achievement to sales plan.

  • Supportartistry, selling and clientele skills of Consultants through hands ondemonstration and follow up

  • Enhance Macy* s“My Client” by coaching Consultants on proper Clientele procedures toincrease client base and build relationships with customers

  • Help to support countertrainings as needed, including individualized coaching, in-storeworkshops, checks as well as specialized retailer programs and duties

  • Ensurethat each Consultant properly utilizes sales building tools such as MakeupLessons, Appointment books, Macy* s Magic selling, outreach programs andspecial events

  • Provideassistance in the preparation of makeup caddies and supplies for eventsand assist with event set-up

  • Monitorand reinforce image guidelines and dress code

  • Maintainmerchandising guidelines and counter cleanliness

Please note in some of these roles you may be hired by the Department Store and not the Estee Lauder Companies. The Department Store will make all final hiring decisions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 2years relevant work experience, including 1 years’ experience as aClinique Consultant or Counter Manager

  • Educationor training experience is preferred

  • Aproven track record of booking events, achieving retail sales plans, anddemonstrating outstanding customer service skills

  • Flexible& dependable with a willingness and ability to enthusiastically step intowhatever role is needed for the benefit of the team/counter and to work varyingschedules including nights and weekends

  • Haveability to foster a quality work environment through leadership by example,ongoing Associate recognition, timely resolution of Associate conflict andmotivational tactics to drive sales and client development

  • Demonstrate ability to build relationships with and influenceothers, including customers, Consultants, vendors and managers througheffective and constant communication

  • Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers; Demonstrate anenthusiastic and positive attitude

  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiplepriorities and quickly learn new procedures

  • Teamwork oriented with the ability to lead a learningenvironment

  • Excellent management and organizational skills

  • Ability to build and maintain strong vendor partnerships inorder to maximize business results

  • Ability to develop and coach others and bring out their best

  • Experience in Social Selling (VSS)

  • Social Media savvy
