This Retail Analyst is the dedicated IT support person for the Le Labo brand (stores and corporate office), and part of the overall IT organization, but based in Williamsburg. Le Labo is a niche perfume company, born in Grasse and raised in New York City. We sparked a revolution over ten years ago and we remain unconventional in the luxury perfume market today. Every fragrance is freshly hand-blended and each label is personalized on-site, at the moment of purchase. Mindful in everything we do – from fragrance creations to where we choose to open a new boutique – our primary mission is to share the beauty of our craft with the world. Our distribution is intentionally selective with 40 lab-boutiques worldwide and limited counters within a curated selection of retail partners. Our global office is based in Williamsburg, New York and our European office is based in Shoreditch, London. We are also a part of the Estée Lauder Companies family.
Manage IT aspects of counter/freestanding store openings and associated ongoing maintenance around the world:
MAC computer setup (software installation (Revel, etc.), e-mail address creation, etc.), printer setup, card machine testing and installation, etc.
Revel POS system, leveraging the Vendor and the Interconnected Retail (ICR) team as needed. Ensure we are aligning on standards that support the business, integration and the overall Le Labo and ICR strategies.
In-Store Technology (Phone, WIFI, security systems) to create an optimized consumer experience
Delivering and supporting both in-store and back office solutions in support of our POS, consumer data management and payment solutions.
Designing and delivering solutions that meet business requirements and follow technical best practices and standards
Corporate office IT responsibilities:
Administration of the corporate network, security, backups, printer, etc.
Audio/visual setup for meetings
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues including software, hardware and network problems.
Work both outside and within the Estee Lauder Companies systems and policies.
Demonstrate 24/7 approach to responsibilities
Be a highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a team-player mindset.
Has the ability to multitask and a high sense of urgency to deliver with excellence
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and work remotely with offsite locations.
Ability to work in and manage effectively in a matrix environment, with the business goals in mind to ensure success.
Familiarity with retail software applications (Revel, FileMaker, TeamViewer, Insomnia, Skype, Microsoft Office, etc.) and fonts preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication, ability to work with senior teams, retail associates and IT professionals. Successful, service-oriented professional with demonstrated ability to build rapport with team members.
Well equipped to perform within diverse work environments and adapt to new procedures.
Highly developed technical skills, proficient in anticipating issues and working to avoid them/minimize their impact, proactive, highly-organized, and able to manage complex projects; detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
