This role is an integral part of the Global Brand FP&A team providing financial support and extensive analytics to the Global Brand (Sr. Brand Management in NY as well as the Regional commercial teams both locally, and remotely).


  • Analyze and evaluate ROI of new program launches, Net sales targets, and tracking with commercial teams

  • Manage detailed marketing budgets by program, and tracking of actual costs to budget

  • Meet with cross-functional teams formally on a monthly basis to review operating costs, understand projects and spend going forward, and help manage spend for the company

  • Support during annual Budget & Strategy meetings with ELC Executive Management, including the Long-Range Planning process, Monthly bottoms up latest estimate submission

  • Support the accounting team with calculating marketing accruals, and gross margin analysis at month end amongst other areas as required

  • COGS analysis and recommend actions and strategies to improve profitability of sales

  • Gross to net sales analysis

  • Create and manage process improvements within the finance function

  • Heavy spreadsheet and data retrieval analytics are required using various systems

  • Ad hoc analytics throughout the year, and other special projects

  • Review and interpret monthly Financial Estimate information from the Corporate Performance Management system (“CPM”) for Regions/affiliates and Global brand functions for resource allocation and other decision making purposes

  • Perform ongoing and ad hoc analytics for business decision making purposes, including deep dive into key P&L lines, portfolio mix, distribution channels, visible consumer spend, new product innovation, etc. Existing organization tools, build corresponding reports independently using Company systems and offline spreadsheets (Excel)

  • Assist in the support and servicing of the NY Global Brand and Regional teams as needed. Establish strong collaborative working relationship with the cross-functional teams including Commercial, Creative and Marketing both locally in NY, ELC affiliates, and regions working remotely

  • Assist in the preparation, review and management of the Global Brand Annual Budget Package Presentation and 3 year Strategy & Long Range Planning packages to Sr. Management including all supporting schedules

  • Assist in the development of financial models and new program launch ROIs, tracking of franchises and channels against affiliate performance, pricing reviews, etc.

  • Assist in preparation and management of Brand P&Ls, Global Brand Monthly Performance Package, Investor Relations, COG’s/Gross Margin management, etc.



  • 5 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting preferred

  • Degree in Accounting and or Finance, CPA/MBA preferred

  • Strong PC skills and experience in Windows packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial systems Netsuite and/or SAP/CPM (corporate planning system)

  • Budget, and Strategy experience, monthly estimate management experience required

  • Strong attention to detail, and approach analysis in a logical, systematic manner

  • Understanding of advanced financial analysis techniques using spreadsheet software, as well as any specialized financial Forecasting/Estimate software the company may have

  • Ability to lead in the design of reports that present both actual and budget data in a concise manner for use by top management in decision making

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with Sr. management (orally and written) in a concise/executive summary fashion
