Reporting to the Director, Finance Planning & Analysis, the primary purpose of this role is to support the Prestige Artisanal Fragrance (PAF) and New Business Empowerment (NBE) Finance Planning & Analysis team with responsibilities to include preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly Sales / P&L reports; training and support for NBE brands with FP&A tasks and ad hoc analysis; assisting with Capital Management for the brands; supporting the Budget and Strategy process and leveraging the ELC Business Intelligence tools to provide greater insights and visibility on brand performance to support the brands’ growth and profitability.

  • Prepare monthly performance reports include YTD actual results and the monthly Estimate deck for senior management using the ELC reporting system and SAP

  • Provide insights and commentary on the YTD and the brands’ Estimate; connect with the brands to identify and understand the main gaps to Plan, Prior Estimate and Prior Year

  • Utilize the ELC Business Intelligence (BI) tools and Market analysis reports to provide insights for the Fragrance brands and NBE brands to include SKU analysis, Pricing, Markets Opportunities, Hero Product Performance, Channel mix and profitability, Competitive analysis and Market Share, COGs analysis

  • Develop BI dashboard for the Brand Cluster (PAF and NBE brands)

  • Support the NBE brands with the annual strategy / budget process and assist with the analysis for strategy / budget deck

  • Provide analysis of the minority interest brands’ performance and calculate the quarterly minority income JE based on the reports received from the brands

  • Collect and prepare the Sales Flash report for the NBE and Fragrance brands to provide instant insight for senior management on the brands’ performance

  • Review the economics and provide feedback to the brands on Free Standing Store, Department Store and Travel Retail doors in terms of ROI and door profitability; assist the non-integrated brands with the Actual/ Estimate/ Long Range Plan CAPEX reporting in BPC system; manage the CAPEX hierarchy approval for SAP and Non-SAP brands

  • Provide training and guidance for NBE brands on ELC Chart of Account, Operating Expense classification in ELC reporting system, System Access, BI tools, ELC accounting policies, Estimate/Rolling Forecast and Budget upload

  • Assist with tracking the Acquisition Brands Joint Business Plan compared to Actual and Long-Range Plan to provide insights on growth opportunities and profitability

  • Perform ad hoc analyses for specific brands in PAF and NBE

Qualifications

Minimum Education level: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting

Licenses or Certifications:

Additional Job Specifications (e.g., physical demands, working conditions, equipment/machinery, specific skills, etc.):

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Finance role – mainly FP&A – as well as basic knowledge of accounting

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting; MBA preferred

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills; experience in data base analysis and BI tools

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills – have the ability to communicate and work with the brands finance leads

  • Ability to work independently on projects

  • Well-organized with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

  • Experience with SAP & Tableau, a plus
