Description

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Senior Manage, Visual Merchandising is

responsible for creating innovative design and leading a team within our

fastest growing channel.

PRIMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design

and oversee production of customized merchandising elements for Clinique

open-service environments in Canada and North America including but not limited

to Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Jean Coutu, and Shoppers Drug Mart

  • Flexible,

solutions oriented with the ability to solve merchandising challenges

creatively while remaining on-brand.

  • Innovative

creative designer who understands the retailer and business needs.

  • Build

collaborative relationships with retail partners, display vendors, engineers, and

multiple internal and external, and cross functional teams.

  • Partner

closely with Project Manager of Operations on budget, timing, scheduling,

on-counter dates for merchandising tools, and work with key executives to

manage issues as they arise.

  • Identify

and improve efficiencies and value engineering.

  • Creative

solutions oriented with experience with retailer’s processes, approvals,

restrictions, and schedules.

  • Leads,

motivates and inspires a team of two.

  • Ability

to present to and influence Senior Management.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of experience preferred

in Prestige Beauty and Skincare within the Specialty Multi Channel.

  • BS or BA in Architecture, Interior

Design or Industrial Design, Store Design and Visual Merchandising.

  • Excellent organizational skills,

quality execution, and attention to detail.

  • Flexibility and strong

problem-solving skills are a must.

  • Ability to prioritize and

effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative

environment.

  • Self-starter with exceptional

project management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills

with ability to articulate ideas and concepts clearly and accurately to cross

functional partners.

  • Flexible team player with the

ability to work in an extremely fast- paced collaborative environment.

  • Expert Skills: Technical drawings,

3D renderings, project management, strong knowledge of materials and

manufacturing processes, detail oriented, strong multi-tasking skills.

  • Useful Software Skills: Adobe

Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop, Cinema 4D, Vector works,

Rhino.
