GLOBAL MARKETING STRATEGY

  • Support Executive Director in development of Global Marketing objectives, strategies and 3-year innovation pipeline, considering strategic fit with brand.

  • Initiate paperwork for new projects (includes but not limited to Concept & Program Briefs, CPMS work requests, Advertising and Creative Briefs to cross-functional teams, inclusive of Consumer Insights

  • Work hand in hand with cross functional partner groups to bring new programs to market, including but not limited to Global Business Supply Chain (GBSC), Global Business Planning (GBP), Product Development, Packaging, Design, Global Supply (GSR), Creative, Education, Consumer Marketing, PR.

  • Work in synergy with Consumer Marketing, Education and Public Relations teams to create awareness and engagement driving tactics for new launches and re-promote programs, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution.

  • Collaborate with Global Business Planning to develop and finalize marketing forecast estimates

  • Liaise with Cost Accounting to accurately manage project and maintain COGs from target costs to final costs.

  • Responsible for COG analysis, pricing and SKU management for managed categories

  • Lead development of forecast offerings/bulletins detailing new program introduction and execution ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all GMW postings.

  • Ensure all timetables and cost objectives are met, including new products, seasonal programs and support collateral.

  • Support in development of new product pricing recommendations, keeping in line with the brand’s product index for new and existing products. Collaborate with Global Pricing Group to finalize pricing recommendation with Regional input and ensure consistency across all markets.

  • Work closely with Design & Creative to ensure flawless execution of saleable, collateral and merchandising.

  • Spearhead project briefing to editorial and ensure timely issuance of copy.

  • Spearhead and be accountable for all aspects of PPD meetings, such as issuance of agenda, meeting recap and follow-ups between meetings.

  • Help identify new products concepts based on new technologies, market trends, competitive activity product gaps and category/franchising opportunities leveraging a category management skill set.

  • Prepare subcategory reviews, and perform ad hoc analysis upon request.

  • Prepare briefs, support materials, paperwork and Presentation Book for Fragrance Department presentations/Creative Turnovers.

COMPETITIVE & TRENDS

  • Analyze the business, competition, trends and help develop well-defined Marketing programs

  • Prepare regular business analyses including category and competitive reviews to monitor and track brand development, identify successful competitive strategies in the market place.

  • Remain knowledgeable of up and coming trends and consumer insights/tastes in order to determine how they can apply to the brand and create new opportunities. Help to prepare yearly trend presentations.

  • Be the gatekeeper of the competitive product library

REGIONAL

  • Serve as regional liaison by ensuring close communication with Region and Global cross-functional teams, leading and recapping regional conference calls, fielding regional queries, and maintaining market information shared by the region.

  • Develop a working knowledge of regional sales channels, retail and competitive landscape, consumer behaviors and purchase patterns, cultures, etc. to build a global understanding of the fragrance universe.

MEETINGS AND PRESENTATIONS

  • Help prepare presentations for various Senior Management meetings, Innovation, Strategy, Global Meetings, Regional Roundtables, etc.

  • Strong organizational, project/category management and leadership skills

  • Strong quantitative & analytical skills, comfortable in dealing with numbers to ensure financial targets are met; ability to connect dots and draw conclusions.

  • A team player who likes to work in dynamic environment, highly flexible to handle changing priorities and collaborate with various profiles and personalities. Ability to “sell” her/his briefs and programs confidently with great enthusiasm, build and foster smooth and fruitful relationships with cross-functional and affiliate teams.

  • High level of interest for the global business environment. Ability to listen, evaluate and integrate local concerns and special requests, as well as motivate regional counterparts in creating excitement around new programs.

  • High level of interest/affinity with Fragrance category.

  • Creative, high level of curiosity, sense of luxury.

  • Highly organized to ensure all deliverables are met.

  • A fact checker; precise; Attention to detail is critical.

  • Excellent presentation and writing skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate College degree

  • 3 years relevant work experience in Project Management, Applied or Global Marketing, Trade Marketing preferably in FMCG Company, beauty industry.

  • Knowledge of core marketing principles

  • Proficiency utilizing all Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and capable of learning additional corporate systems
