Bumble and bumble is seeking a seasoned multi-tasker experienced in planning massive events as well as intimate meetings. Must have 3 years’ experience in event operations, logistical planning or related industry. The Assistant Manager of Retail Operations and Events plays a critical role in tracking and managing trainings and events, ensuring all timelines are met, costs are kept within budget, and all work streams are efficiently executed and implemented.
- Some travel required.
Manage and coordinate event logistics for education trainings, events and internal meetings
Produce event execution from concept through completion: identify opportunities, define strategy and goals, manage vendors, and navigate through event obstacles along the way
Help develop new event ideas, concepts, initiate processes and formats, ensuring consistency and creativity are up to Bumble and bumble standards
Support all aspects of technical and artistic production and manage show developments from inception to execution and post-event wrap-up.
Provide general event support including, talent, hotel, travel, and credential management
Manage all logistics and inventory of event assets and giveaways
Responsible for establishing, facilitating and maintaining workflow and communication between retail operations rollout and all other contributing departments
Host regular status meetings with key cross-functional team members to ensure efficient communication and coordination of job requests.
Meet regularly with external vendors to ensure coordination and timely deliveries of projects and tasks.
Plan and execute internal and external meeting and events for sister companies, like minded brands, salon network and fashion week
Responsible for analyzing job budgets and managing cost/billing allocations
Reconcile budgets post-event working closely with finance
