POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports the Executive Director of Art Production in handling all photo and video shoot productions from initial concept and pre-production, through post production. Responsible for sourcing of all talent, photographers, directors, stylists, glam teams, illustrators, etc. This role also assists in organization and strategy of the overall fiscal budget for creative shoots alongside finance and the ED of Art Production.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

In addition to sourcing and booking talent for shoots, responsibilities include securing and negotiating usage rights for new projects, negotiating usage rights for existing images, music and footage; estimate shoot and post production fees and expenses; coordinate shoot logistics, including booking of crews, talent, hair, make up, stylists, set designers and shoot production; developing post production schedules and manage feedback with MAC creative team, editor and 3rd parties involved (i.e. Talent, Director, Photographer or other vendors); alongside the Executive Director, manage overall pre and post production calendars for projects and liaise between internal teams (PR, Online, Creative) to ensure projects are tracking/delivering as needed. Oversee final deliveries/formats for various channels – online, social media, presentations, internal needs and archiving.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA or BFA preferred

  • 5 years experience in production

  • Knowledge of computer programs including, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite preferred

  • Ability to work with a variety of people/personalities in various disciplines

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
