The primary focus of this position is to report to the Executive Director and to partner with the Associate Art Director, and key members of the creative team including Visual Merchandising and Creative Operations to support for all of M
C’s global brand identity projects and collection campaign launches. The Designer is responsible for assisting the Associate Art Director in developing creative concepts, and executing concurrently running promotional collateral programs, both print and digital, from inception through completion. This includes, but is not limited to the development of all in-store collateral, in-store presentation materials, and other brand related promotional vehicles ie. Region-specific design pieces, influencer mailers, postcards, lightboxes, etc.
Concept and development of brand identity projects for M
C stores and specialty multi-channel store.
Concept and development of print and digital content for our seasonal program collateral, including, but not limit to, direct mail, print and digital invitations, lookbook inserts, in-home / out-of-home advertisements, and signage.
Communicate effectively the creative objectives of projects and partner with various departments and functions including VPs, Executive Directors, Art Directors, Designers Creative Ops, and Copywriters.
Work with Visual Merchandising team to carry out creative concepts and design of our seasonal programs and apply to Retail Events space throughout all market channels and regions.
Work with Industrial Design team to carry out creative concepts and design of our seasonal displayers throughout all market channels and regions.
Assist Executive Director and Associate Art Director in concepting photoshoots for our seasonal and brand identity programs.
Prepare mechanicals for all projects involved to ensure accurate execution and production of our collaterals.
Responsible for design and execution strategy of lightboxes, posters, signage, and advertisement.
Maintain and organize seasonal and identity programs on the server.
BA or BFA preferred
2 Years of direct design experience
Strong typography and artistic skills
Understanding of general campaign ecosystem from print to digital
Understanding of current fashion trends
Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
Fluent of computer programs including, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Word.
Knowledge animation programs, Powerpoint and Keynote are a plus.
Ability to work with people from various disciplines
Ability to multi-tasking among various projects at hand
Command good organization and communication skills
