Principal Objective: Lead and inspire the education team of Education Executives and Education Ambassadors to reflect Jo Malone London’s philosophy, culture, and selling standards in the NA Affiliate.

Job Description:

  • Partner and support the VP of NA Sales & Education and Global Education for the Jo Malone London strategy and program development

  • Oversee the execution of all training programs and establish KPI’s to evaluate effectiveness

  • Oversee the performance, management and career development of direct reports through ongoing feedback to team members, conducting performance appraisals and ensuring necessary resources are available to the team

  • Work with the education team to reinforce uniformity is achieved with regards to Jo Malone London’s four brand pillars are supported: British Heritage, Fragrance Combining, Gift Giving, Services

  • Regionalize training programs and provide facilitator’s notes/materials to Education Executives

  • Establish and communicate guidelines for all Jo Malone London Stylists with regard to performance standards: image guidelines, luxury service standards, fragrance stories, and application of product

  • Train the team on education modules prior to implementation to ensure consistency

  • Coach Education Executives and Education Ambassadors to deliver excellence in presentations & store visits

  • Develop in store consumer education programs to reflect Jo Malone’s philosophy while impacting sales

  • Manage process of collecting feedback on training programs and incorporate suggestions as appropriate

  • Design feedback mechanisms and methods for measuring the success of training initiatives

  • Reinforce CRM Capture to increase engagement and retention

  • Partner closely with field sales teams to monitor performance and productivity of Jo Malone Stylists

  • Prioritize Top Malls/Doors by investing & monitoring performance

  • Optimize events in Top Doors to support engagement and word of mouth

  • Lead the initiative to create outreach promotional events for Jo Malone London

  • Manage all aspects of education, and event budget (planning forecasting and tracking)

  • Work with Marketing to develop events and training programs based on marketing strategy and specific retailer needs

  • Lead, develop and manage the Education department budgets



  • 10 years of education experience

  • Exceptional and inspirational communication, presentation, and motivational skills

  • Proven leadership and financial management capabilities

  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, flexible, independent, and self-starting

  • Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Team player
