Executive Director, Transformation, MAC
This position leads the project management and governance of the brand transformation efforts going across organization reset, cultural change, roles and responsibility evolution and process change. This role would also provide program management leadership to key strategic initiatives like Project Red, brand reset and also be the liason for the cascade down and adoption/implementation of corporate wide initiatives. This position reports into the VP of Finance Strategy & Transformation and partners closely with the SVP/GM of MAC. This is a well-rounded business and process savvy individual with strong experience in organization and process design and implementation, especially around Innovation development and supply chain optimization. This position has deep exposure to the business and strong ability to work cross-functionally.
Build the 18 month transformation roadmap with the right structure, prioritization and cadence to help execute the roadmap
Org Reset - Translate the organization reset into reality with filling the 70 open HdCt, defining roles and responsibilities in detail and going through multiple rounds of training on HWWT
Culture reset – Reset the culture internally within the global brand, set the right tone and relationship with region and affiliates, and most importantly with the consumer in-store
Capability Building – As part of the transformation and elevation of the brand competence we have to build new capabilities in online, consumer engagement, commercial and creative that are embedded not just in hiring people, but building the right toolkit from a data, analytics and process standpoint
Process Reset (Inventory, Manufacturing, Speed to Market, Siop, NPL, GBME, DP,..) – Align the organization and associated roles and responsibilities to the key processes that have to be executed at the brand to help deliver on our objectives. This requires building core PM capability with a greater focus and leadership on managing scope, timelines, resources, and overall governance.
Brand Reset (Alignment behind what needs to be done, Relevant, speak to Genz, localizing the message) – The brand itself will go through a significant transformation from a vision, mission, purpose standpoint and how it translates into executional pillar globally, and build the right toolkit and governance for Glocal execution moving forward in close partnership with region and affiliates
Transformation of FSS and Dotcom is a standalone significant transformation in itself with huge resources (people and capex) commitment and core to the brand turnaround that in itself
10 years of business and/or brand experience
Demonstrated ability to lead strategy development requiring synthesis of large amounts of complex data into meaningful conclusions
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Agile to be able to flex between MAC Brand & ELC Corporate
Strong PMO experience
Succeeds and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding strategic, problem solving and thought leadership skills
Comfortable and trustworthy to handle confidential information
Prior sales or finance experience
Entrepreneurial with ability to navigate ELC
Experience in running organization and process design and implementation work, especially around innovation, supply and operation planning and inventory management.
Consulting background preferred, but also if part of a transformation office at a corporation
