Brand: Estée Lauder Companies


Lead finance analysis for new enterprise-wide initiative titled Brand Marketing Evolution, including development of baseline spend, business case, multi-year project plan, and management of budget. Provide reporting, analysis and insights to internal project team and to senior management for action. Develop and monitor key metrics in support of continuous improvements. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders within Brand Marketing Evolution team, Corporate/Brand/Region Finance teams and other enterprise-wide initiatives.

Develop a deep understanding of the baseline spend and cost drivers of Brand Marketing globally.

Own the development of a multi-year business case to support the investments required and quantifiable benefits expected associated with the Brand Marketing Evolution transformation.

Drive processes with multiple stakeholders to collect/validate internal data and develop estimates for future investments and benefits.

Partner with multiple stakeholders, including Brand and Corporate Finance, to seek alignment on assumptions and drivers of business case.

Navigate hurdles with effective solutions to ensure business case develops in accordance with Brand Marketing Evolution Roadmap and Project Sponsors’ expectations.

Lead the estimate process and productivity reporting, analyzing and reporting the financial data for presentations to management, and adhering to deadlines and required deliverables.

Develop, monitor and report metrics and KPIs providing analysis and insights, as applicable.

Ensure clear reporting on benefits and eliminate risks of double-counting benefits across multiple projects.

Develop, coordinate and fully understand the annual budget and multi-year plan for departmental costs related to BME

Facilitate and execute quarterly estimate process, interacting with project members to understand spend activities, shifts in timing and comprehensive reporting on realized costs and savings.

In conjunction with team members, provide for continuous improvement in processes ensuring proper controls and realization of efficiencies.

Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as requested.

Adhere to deadlines and processes.


Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, MBA/Masters Degree a plus

5 years of Finance or Accounting

Financial modeling experience required

Excellent analytical capabilities to translate data into Executive level insights and metrics

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills a must; knowledge of CPM SmartView and SAP preferred

Ability to work/analyze/build efficient analyses and reports  Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required, including direct interaction with Senior Management

Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and multitask

Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs and direction of Senior Management

Excellent organization, writing and listening skills
