This role is an integral part of the Global Brand FP&A team providing financial support and extensive analytics to the Global Brand Team (Sr. Brand Management in NY as well as the 6 Regional brand teams). This position supports the Global Brand management of the ADF portfolio of brands – Aramis, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan/DKNY, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Kiton. Additionally, he/she works closely with Marketing teams in evaluating ROI of new program launches. The Global Brand in NY includes the Brand President, the NY International GM, Creative, Marketing, Product Development, PR and others. FP&A support will cover the annual Budget & Strategy including Long Range Planning as well as ad hoc analytics throughout the year and other special projects. Heavy spreadsheet and data retrieval analytics are required using various systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret monthly Financial Estimate information from the Corporate Performance Management system (“CPM”) for Regions/affiliates and Global brand functions for resource allocation and other decision making purposes

  • Perform ongoing and ad hoc analytics for business decision making purposes, including deep dive into key P&L lines, portfolio mix, distribution channels, visible consumer spend, new product innovation, etc. Existing organization tools, build corresponding reports independently using Company systems and offline spreadsheets (Excel)

  • Assist in the support and servicing of the NY Global Brand and Regional teams as needed. This is a collaborative responsibility with the Global Brand Financial Group (“GBFG”) who handles Closing, Reporting, Estimate and Capital, etc so the expectation is to maintain a strong working relationship with the GBFG

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Global Business Planning, Creative and Marketing to evaluate ADF proposed marketing programs that will deliver scale with the highest return on investment across all ADF Brands – Aramis, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan/DKNY, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Kiton

  • Assist in the preparation, review and management of the Global Brand Annual Budget Package Presentation and 3 year Strategy & Long Range Planning packages to Sr. Management including all supporting schedules

  • Assist in the development of financial models and new program launch ROIs, tracking of franchises and channels against affiliate performance, pricing reviews, etc. across all ADF Brands

  • Assist in preparation and management of Brand P&Ls, Global Brand Monthly Performance Package, Investor Relations, COG’s/Gross Margin management, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Education level: Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting or Finance

Minimum Years of Experience: 3

Required Language Proficiency: English

Additional Job Specifications (e.g., physical demands, working conditions, equipment/machinery, specific skills, etc.):

  • 3 years experience in Finance/Accounting preferred

  • Degree in Accounting and or Finance, MBA preferred

  • Strong PC skills and experience in Windows packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial systems SAP/CPM (corporate planning system)

  • Budget and Strategy experience, monthly estimate management experience preferred

  • Understanding of advanced financial analysis techniques using spreadsheet software, as well as any specialized financial Forecasting/Estimate software the company may have

  • Ability to assist in the design of reports that present both actual and budget data in a concise manner for use by top management in decision making

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with Sr. management (orally and written) in a concise/executive summary fashion

  • Well organized with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
