Description

  • Acts as the e-commerce expert and main contact for the EMEA region

  • Acts as the main e-commerce contact lead for affiliates and regional brands

  • Stays up-to-date with latest industry best practices

  • Inspires Brands on how to build win/win retailer.com partnerships, and how to drive brand site e-commerce business

  • Responsible for sharing, through the e-commerce regional team, best practices between brands / affiliates in order to be better and executed locally and on a wider scale

  • Responsible for putting in place, with the regional e-com brand teams, monthly / quarterly reporting of main e-commerce KPI activities (sales targets, brand site performance incl. traffic, conversion, opt-ins, AOS, repeat purchases) and sharing with brand teams (region & global)

  • Contributes to building and operationalizing the e-commerce strategy across the region

  • In particular, develops EMEA online strategy across all sub-channels (brand.com, retailers.com pure players), working collaboratively with Brands on online sales targets (both brand sites and retailers.com)

  • Fosters investment shift from traditional to online distribution, in particular with retailers.com (coop investments, samples…)

  • Expresses capability development needs with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Secures operationalization of the strategy and leading implementation of priority projects, in liaison with affiliates teams and regional Brands teams

  • Responsible for monitoring the on-going monthly Online sales targets and estimates, in close relationship with the Affiliates and Brand teams

  • Together with VP Digital Commerce and Marketing, helps set yearly targets for affiliates and brands, and monitors on-going development

  • Contributes to supporting in-year adjustments of the sales targets and OPEX investments, across online and Brands P&Ls, in collaboration with affiliates and brands teams

  • Monitors on-going sales targets (monthly) together with Finance Online & VP Digital Commerce & Marketing

  • Drives overall proper implementation of e-commerce priorities across all brands and channels

  • Aligns with regional e-commerce brand teams to make sure of the proper overall implementation of key brand programs (new launches & best sellers) as well as on-going activation of e-commerce activities (always-on activities)

  • Responsible for the overall proper execution of key e-commerce moments, in collaboration with regional e-commerce brand teams and brand teams (e.g. Black Friday, Xmas season, etc.)

  • Runs the roadmap of e-commerce brand sites deployment and acts as the main point of contact for the EMEA production and development team

  • Acts as the main point of contact with EMEA production & development team, in order to manage the proper deployment of new brand sites (or redesigns) across the region

  • Responsible for the proper development of new features and functionalities / enhancements of brand sites across the region, in collaboration with the production & development team in EMEA

  • Support driving relationships with pan-European retailers.com and pan-European pure players

  • Acts as the main point of contact for key retailers.com pan-European contacts (Sephora, Douglas, AS Watson, Kicks)

  • Acts as the on-going key contact for the EMEA region for pan-European pure players (e.g. ventes privées)

  • Proposes development opportunities, working closely with Brands and Supply Chain

  • Runs pilot operations through test & learn approach

  • Drives larger scale replications across the region

  • Manages and develops the brand e-commerce regional team

  • Trains, coaches and develops team members

  • Identifies and cultivates essential skills to maximize individual contribution and engagement

  • Promotes expertise and best practice sharing within the team

  • Builds and develops the e-commerce community across EMEA affiliates

  • Coaches and develops e-commerce managers in the affiliates

  • Fosters best practice sharing

Qualifications

  • Minimum years of experience 7-10

  • Prior experience in e-commerce with direct P&L and budget responsibility

  • Deep knowledge of online distribution best practices

  • Ability to drive and develop a team, and develop constructive partnerships with multiple stakeholders (across Affiliates, Brands & Functions)

  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, multi-branded, international environment

  • Ability to support and influence multiple senior stakeholders

  • Prior experience in working at affiliate level (ie. having run an e-commerce team) and at international level

  • Prior experience in managing e-commerce team

  • English fluent, other languages a plus
