TITLE: BY KILIAN Global Communication and Digital Senior Manager – ASAP
REPORTS TO: Reports to Global Marketing & Communication Director
Global Communication and Digital Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic vision for Communication around the Brand KILIAN and its founder, Kilian Hennessy. In this capacity, the position will work very closely with the founder, Kilian Hennessy.
This position is critical to sustaining the growth and momentum of the brand and amplifying its heritage in fragrances and its ambition to raise awareness globally across PAID, OWNED and EARNED media channels.
Hand in hand with the Founder and Marketing and Communication Director, the candidate must develop the strategic vision for brand communications and cascade the strategy for the Brand to global markets.
The role is including of traditional and digital PR, influencers, social media and paid media.
Strategize, create and execute programs and initiatives that will provide measurable results in achieving the brand’s global communications objectives.
Work closely with Regional and Local Communication teams to ensure initiatives to enhance the brand’s business model.
Lead efforts for Global spokesperson Kilian Hennessy (e.g., public appearances including photo shoots, TV segments and media tours); accompany spokesperson in media interviews; serve as on site contact; travel, as required.
Serve as primary team liaison for third-party partners to ensure proper project management for example, fashion week and philanthropic endeavors.
With regional and local teams: build and maintain relationships with key national global press & influencers; work hand in hand with markets to secure feature and exclusive stories in national print and broadcast outlets; establish strategic media relations plans for new product launches, brand stories, portraits of Founder, corporate communications on Brand etc…
Strategize and develop a more comprehensive press strategy to creatively support bykilian.com (as this is one of the brands most profitable doors with exponential growth and PR potential).
Establish tiered influencer strategy and draw relevant profiles or the brand as well as ling term engagement and content creation strategies. Attend influencer event and represent the brand when founder is not available.
Oversee Social media channels management (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Weibo): vision, editorial line, content creation, and community management (with community manager).
Brief media agency to expand reach via paid social media campaigns.
Develop fiscal budgets and oversee proper spending.
Oversee and submit information for all Corporate Communication projects and initiatives.
Management of 2 team members: Communications project Manager and Digital Manager.
Position requires 6 years’ public relations/communications/digital communications.
Management experience is a plus
Must have a strong acumen of latest trends, collaborations in the fashion & cosmetic industry and must have a keen interest in arts
Good leadership skills to work close with Regional/local partners and PR agencies.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication, analytical, creative and computer skills.
Fluent English and French are mandatory for the role
Ideally as strong experience in a luxury company
Fantastic media relationships
Flexible in terms of adapting to changes or shifts in priorities.
