By KILIAN, an eco-luxe perfume brand from Paris, created by Kilian Hennessy and recently acquired by Estee Lauder Companies is currently looking for a Global Retail Design & Visual Merchandising Manager.

Main Job Responsibilities


  • Main interlocutor with all the affiliates – Educate the affiliates creating collaborative relationships. Ensure brand’s image is maintained at a consistent level of excellence through guidelines editing, affiliates education and continuous support in order to achieve a cohesive effect in terms of architecture, detailing and merchandising layouts.

  • Development of new design for the VM items and stores fixtures

  • Construction and follow-up of the global merchandising budget

  • Follow up of all store design projects of the non-integrated markets (from design to installation)

  • Helicopter view SD/VM Team: Keep an helicopter view of the department ongoing projects to set priorities to the team. Lead the weekly store design meeting overview with the team and set up a weekly VM events overview meeting to review priorities and to have a 360° view for each launch in terms of VM items. Distribute the projects regarding the work load.


  • Fully manage Store Design projects of the non-integrated markets: creation, development and production follow-up for FSS, permanent and temporary stores (from design to execution): Store design, tenders, follow up with contractors and furniture supplier, technical drawings approval, construction site supervision with contractors, budget follow up, merchandising.

  • Collaborate closely with the export team to expend the distribution network

  • Educate new and existing shop fitters and update them on new techniques, details and directions for Kilian’s store design

  • Ensure store development planning & cost monitoring

  • Development of new store fixtures design

  • Fixtures purchasing (Shopping Carts execution on SAP, monitoring and logistic, invoicing follow up)

  • Development of the store design bible: Store design / bible, suppliers, pricing, materials, timing, retail formats

  • Collaborate closely with the other departments to implement, optimize and follow all ESTEE LAUDER processes (creation of VM codes on SAP, logistic, invoicing).


  • Development of institutional VM materials: development of new designs, sourcing of new suppliers, production follow up

  • Creation, management and implementation of VM projects related to the marketing plans and launch programs: VM guidelines, planograms, windows and podiums

  • Creation of all merchandising books and development of the brand image bible

  • Creation and posting all VM bulletins on IMW, follow up with all affiliates and forecasts follow-up.

  • POSM Purchasing (Shopping Carts execution on SAP, monitoring and logistic, invoicing follow-up)


Requested Skills:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience, within the luxury and/or beauty sector.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.

  • Strong professional with analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize.

  • Excellent communication skills are a must.

  • Has the flexibility and ability to learn quickly.

  • Proactive in anticipating and planning projects.

  • Experience with SAP systems (or similar) a plus

  • Group Experience is a plus

  • Fluent English
