This role as Regional Collateral Supply Planner position is to manage the forecasting of continous life materials for the EMEA region. This person will analytically and strategically support portfolio of affiliates local planning efforts with particular focus on management and execution of optimal inventory levels at the consolidated regional perspective. The planner will also have a stake in the collateral aspect of the ELC SIOP transformation, presenting in front of the regional Marketing and Brand leads the collateral inventory and excess. This role will be a highly collaborative; working across functional teams including (but not limited to) brand teams, marketing, DC Customer Service, and development.

The main tasks and responsibilities of the hired candidate will be:

Non-operational tasks :

  • Process owner for forecasting continuous life/on going material and ensuring a smooth transition from make to order to make to forecast

  • Build and improve capability to ensure accurate, consistent, timely and complete inventory and material master data

  • Drive process improvements

  • Report KPI related to assortment, stock levels, and excess with integrity and process adherence on a periodic basis

  • Maintain relations with DCs, Regional Design Development Center, and Regional Brand teams and work with them on issues and enhancements

  • Ensure process documentation is up-to-date and distributed

Operational tasks:

Forecasting

  • Ensuring an accurate forecast in the Global Marketing Website (GMW) and reviewing any unusual spikes or dips.

  • Identify opportunities for inventory reduction – e.g. redeployment, offer to corporate stores or destroy – by analyzing blocked stock and high value excess stock in cooperation with Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and DCs.

  • Manage the life cycle process Facilitate, follow up and function as point of contact of the continuous life process.

  • Manage the Material Requirement P lanning on a weekly basis including necessary reporting and analysis

  • Manage the open-sell continuous life catalogue including inventory analytics, item maintenance and life cycle management

  • Create reports on inventory evolution, excess, and movement details for SIOP meetings with brands. Being able to develop reports, according to changing needs.

  • Invnetory reporting on KPIs, stock orders, and movements.

SIOP:

  • Prepare and present the monthly data for brand SIOP meetings

  • Lead the excess review meetings with brands to ensure we have a plan for all excess materials, and managing the follow through for all stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, or scientific field (or its international equivalent from an accredited institution) required

  • Previous invnetory and planning experience in SAP

  • Analytically minded and methodical problem solver

  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent customer service and “can do“ mentality

  • Takes initiative and drives improvements

  • Experience working within a multi-cultural environment

  • Strong Microsoft Office suite and SAP skills

  • Analytically minded and methodical problem solver Specific knowledge around SAP

  • English language skills required
