The role of the Global Business Planner is to develop and facilitate
the consensus forecast for 2 prestigious fragrance brands from the Estee
Lauder portfolio across affiliates and non-integrated markets. It is a key
role for both the Supply Chain and the Global Brands team, supporting the
overall business, financial and supply chain planning for the brands. The role
will be located in Paris.
Provide support to the global brand by assisting the development of newproduct forecasting guidelines for all markets. Work closely with theGlobal Marketing, Product Development and GBSC Teams in supporting to developbusiness plans as projects move through the Innovation process.Communicate forecast guidelines to the regions and assist them in incorporatingthem into their business plans. Monitor brand sales trends for across allRegions and Markets and provide ad-hoc demand analytics to support brand myriadlead initiatives. In particular, provide support for the annual strategyand Long Term Planning process. Review and monitor the alignment of theDemand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand reconciliation between them aspart of the larger SIOP Process.
Support the development of new product forecasting guidelines for allmarkets working closely with Global Marketing and Product Development as partof the Brand and Corporate Innovation Process. Work closely with RegionalBrand and Demand Planning Teams to assure robust business plans are put inplace.
Assist in business analytics to support the global Brand.This includes the issuance of several standard monthly and quarterly reports aswell as general ad-hoc analyses. For all standard reports provide asummary of findings and recommendations to allow the brand to addressrisks and opportunities to the Brand's Monthly, Quarterly and Annual OperatingPlan.
Review and monitor the alignment of the Demand Plan and FinancialEstimate to understand reconciliation between them as part of the large SalesInventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
Assist the Brand with the SKU Portfolio Management process.Monitor the planned phase outs of existing items and assure they are timed withany linked successor SKU launches.
Recap Non-Saleable product portfolio which includes Holiday Sets andGifts.
Collaborateswith the supply planning organization to proactively communicate demand changesand work service and inventory impacts.
LeadsForecast Accuracy improvement plan for the brand through thorough root cause analysisand action planning where appropriate.
Worksto continuously improve Demand Planning work processes
3-5 years ofexperience in Supply Chain with minimum 1,5 year of experience in DemandPlanning
Stronganalytical skills : must feel comfortable working with several sources of dataand information to identify relevant insights
Effective timemanagement and organization
Strong personalcomputer skills required, proficiency in the use of excel, including advancedspreadsheet tools.
Strongleadership & communication skills: ability to defend your point of viewand work confidently with various levels in the organization
English musthave, French is desirable
