REPORT: GLOBAL EDUCATION DIRECTOR
The Manager, Global Education will support in the development and deployment of Global Education strategies and assets. The role will provide focussed field support to develop talent and capabilities of Regional Education team ensuring excellence in execution of the brand is achieved. The role will play a key part in ensuring education needs are cascaded up to the Global team and will lead the Managers, in building innovative training solutions to project the in store experience. The role will also support the Director, Global Education in the running of key Global Education meetings/initiatives.
EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT - 50%
Support and manage the development of all Global education materials and digital assets.
Manage updates to education materials and all subsequent required translations
Core Education Programs:
Co-develop and co-facilitate KILIAN Education Academy
Lead in the development of brand education materials to support the in-store experience
Give clear feedback on core education programs and provide recommendations for enhancement
Collaborate with Director, Global Education / Regional VPs to ensure materials/programs have regional relevance
Develop the facilitation skills of Regional Education Managers
Develop coaching capabilities of Regional Education Managers to ensure they can identify areas of opportunity for their education teams.
Ensure highest standards of execution of education programs.
MARKET SUPPORT (GLOBAL) -30%
Conduct structured market visits with Regional Education Managers ensuring all education programs are implemented and followed up successfully, ensuring they drive KPI's/Retail Sales.
Ensure the highest standards of execution are adhered to in all boutiques.
Identify areas of opportunity and development for brand service standards
Collaborate with Regional Education Teams to ensure regional relevance of service techniques (without compromising brand DNA).
Develop talent and capabilities of Regional Education Teams and feedback training opportunities to Director, Global Education / Regional VP's
Collaborate with Director, Global Education / Regional VP's / Regional Education Managers to establish regionally relevant education strategies to support new product launches and drive KPI's/Retail Sales.
GLOBAL EDUCATION BUDGET MANAGEMENT - 10%
Work within agreed T&E budget and allocate resources accordingly to ensure that every Fiscal all global needs are met with efficiency and accuracy. Support Director, Global Education with effective budget management and tracking for the Global Education Department.
STRATEGIC PLANNING- 5%
Work closely with Executive Director, Global Education to evaluate and customize department goals to ensure they are regionally relevant, whilst falling in line with brand strategy.
SUCCESSION PLANNING - 5%
- Identify talent in the brand with the capabilities to move into education, providing feedback on areas of development
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
At least 3 to 5 years of related experience in Education, Field Development, Retail Sales, Instructional Design or Team Training.
Requires a strategic and resourceful thinker and a creative writing talent.
Must be effective at multi-tasking and have the ability to work independently.
Requires strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office
French and experience in Cosmetics are mandatory
