The role of the Regional Demand Planner is to develop and facilitate the consensus forecast for the brand across affiliates. It is a key role for both the Supply Chain and the Regional Brand team, supporting the overall business, financial and supply chain planning for the brands. The role will be located in our EMEA headquarters in Paris.
Directly manages the demand plan for >70% of the EMEA region’s volume for the brand: leverages SAP-APO statistical forecast and collects relevant business intelligence through collaboration with brand and sales teams in order to develop an accurate, unbiased forecast on the 27-month horizon.
Ensures forecast reasonability across rest of the affiliates in the region, leverages regional trends analysis and regional insights, follows-up KPIs and sets-up concrete solutions.
Leads the forecasting process for the new launches : Builds forecast recommendations in collaboration with regional marketing, aligns the forecast with the global business planning team and with the affiliates, uploads the forecast in due time and makes the re-planning requests for any forecast change that is required post project closure
Conducts new product launches reviews with the brand teams to analyze post launch performances and prepare future launches forecasts.
Leads the Regional Consensus Cycle meetings focusing on Demand Plan building blocks, Risks and Opportunities, Demand Valuation and Forecast Reconciliation
Leads the regional Brand SIOP meeting
Collaborates with the supply planning organization to proactively communicate demand changes and work service and inventory impacts.
Leads Forecast Accuracy improvement plan for the brand through thorough root cause analysis and action planning where appropriate.
Works to continuously improve Demand Planning work processes.
3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain with minimum 1,5 year of experience in Demand Planning
Strong analytical skills : must feel comfortable working with several sources of data and information to identify relevant insights
Effective time management and organization
Strong personal computer skills required, proficiency in the use of excel, including advanced spreadsheet tools.
Strong leadership & communication skills: ability to defend your point of view and work confidently with various levels in the organization
English must have, French is desirable
