The role of a Regional Demand Planning Manager is to support the overall business, financial & supply chain management process by rigorous management of the demand signals for the various product types and customer channels. The Regional Demand Planning Manager works with the Regional Brand Management team in the management of the operational demand plan at the aggregate level. They will play a key role in the Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process by working with the multi-functional teams (namely Supply Planning, Marketing and Finance) and the Affiliate Demand Planners to assure tight alignment in the forecast (which will drive the supply, inventory & production plans) and financial plans. The role is located in our EMEA headquarters in Paris .

  • Ensures that the affiliate Demand Planners are leveraging SAP-APO statistical forecast and collecting relevant business intelligence during the consensus planning process and through collaboration with brand and sales teams in order to develop an accurate, unbiased forecast on the 27-month horizon.

  • Ensures forecast reasonability across the affiliates in the region, leverage regional trends analysis and regional insights to shape total demand plan for the region.

  • Develops EMEA New Product launch forecast with regional EMEA brand team, ensures that affiliates demand planners are working with affiliates brand team to validate affiliate forecast and to do reviews before launch, conducts new product launches reviews with the regional brand team, to analyze post launch performances and prepare future launches forecasts.

  • Leads the regional Brand SIOP meeting focusing on business & demand outlook, Risks & Opportunities, Demand Valuation and Forecast Reconciliation, and operations planning.

  • Collaborates with the supply planning organization (regional, global) to proactively communicate demand changes, and work service and inventory impacts.

  • Lead Forecast Accuracy improvement plan for the brand through thorough root cause analysis and action planning with affiliate demand planners and brand teams.

  • Works to continuously improve Demand Planning work processes, participates to process and systems enhancement testing.

Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience in Supply Chain Roles with minimum 3 year of experience in Demand Planning and S&OP/SIOP/IBP process facilitation (including working knowledge of SAP APO).

  • 2 years of experience in people management

  • Strong analytical skills: must feel comfortable working with several sources of data and information to identify relevant insights.

  • Effective time management and organization.

  • Strong personal computer skills required, proficiency in the use of excel, including advanced spreadsheet tools.

  • Strong leadership & communication skills: ability to defend your point of view and work confidently with various levels in the organization.

  • English must have, French is desirable.
