Description

  • Manage inventory and service targets to achieve business and profitability goals. In collaboration with affiliate service, Demand Planning, DC & importation, brand team to manage supply in supporting the overall Supply Chain targets.

  • Sense of urgency and accountability, pro-active working attitude and good collaboration, willing to work under pressure.

  • Daily supply management and ad-hoc issue solving.

  • Be responsible for specific Inventory Management processes such as support function meeting, online inventory management, redeployment and re-plan

  • Be responsible for Promo demand and supply to track usage plan vs expense plan balance.

  • Monitor on-going results against key performance metrics and recommend corrective action as necessary.

a) DOS: monitor inventory levels to efficiently manage inventory, both main warehouse and online location;

b) Excess level: closely track demand and supply to avoid excess inventory as much as possible

  • Resolve operational issues and negotiate cost effective solutions. (air freight control, destruction monitoring)

  • Parameter management to ensure accurate planning

  • Maintain connection with regional team, source plant and GBSC to drive cross functional alignment.

  • Lead support function meeting to update supply status to support NPL and month sales target achievement

  • Review potential obsolescence inventory with the Brand General Manager/Brand Marketing Manager and obtain disposition for excesses and closely follow up on action plans.

  • Take on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. University graduate with major in supply chain management/demand planning, finance or business administration.

  2. 6 years of relevant work experience in retail driven company or FMCG.

  3. Strong business acumen and influencing skill

  4. Strong analytical and good English language skills.

  5. Fundamental project management skills

  6. Attention to details. Able to work under pressure.

  7. Team work player with strong communication and good inter personal skill.

  8. Exceptional PC skills. Experience of using SAP (APO) would be a plus.
