Business Development Project Manager/ Assistant Manager

  1. Assist assigned Brands in the Annual and VFB budgeting process. Utilizes appropriate planning tools to improve the effectiveness of the budget planning process.

  2. Monitors and reports the financial performance of assigned Brands on a monthly basis, identifies variances from budget and recommends corrective measures. Communicates overspending to the Management, Brand General Manager, Sr. Manager, and others as appropriate.

  3. Participates and guides special promotional programs with respect to budgeting, objective setting, and evaluation of results.

  4. Prepares/consolidates financial reports and schedules for month-end, quarterly, year-end closings for assigned Brands.

  5. Liaises with Brand General Manager, Sales Manager and Marketing Manager to prepare monthly estimate reporting to New York. Reviews monthly net sales reports with Brand General Manager to develop monthly commentary on variance from plan.

  6. Reviews retail sales performance by door with comparison and evaluation vs. net sales, including run rate. Communicates exposures to plan/estimate to Brand General Manager, and Sr. Manager.

  7. Review forecasting and analyzes inventory levels including counter inventory monthly to avoid excess inventories in conjunction with forecasting team.

  8. Participates in monthly forecasting meetings, coordinating with Forecasting and Inventory Management and Brand representatives to facilitate the reconciliation of product shipment forecasts with monthly net sales estimates.

  9. Monitors potential obsolescence reserve calculated by DRP in comparison with the obsolescence reserve in Balance Sheet. Visits distribution center quarterly with Brand Marketing team and monitors the excess products to develop the usage and destruction plan.

  10. Provides guidance in establishment of aggressive but achievable retail and net sales target. Monitors retail performance of new product to avoid excess or out of stock situation.

  11. Prepares 3 year P&L for new doors including calculation of ROI. Prepares and monitors P&L by door quarterly with the aim at improving brand profitability. Assists in establishment and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators.

  12. Participate in new brand/new business/distribution projects.

  13. Carries out special projects, as requested.


  1. University graduate with major in finance or accounting.

  2. CPA certification

  3. 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience (Analyst level); 5-7 years for Asst Manager level. Big 4 accounting firm working experience is preferable.

  4. Strong analytical and good English language skills.

  5. Team work player with outstanding inter personal skill.

  6. Exceptional PC skills, particularly with MS Office applications, and a working knowledge of enterprise wide software systems.

  7. Familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is a plus.
