Sales Management

  • DriveJMLsales strategies to achieve Fiscal Retail Sales and Net Sales.

  • Achieve ranking by door set by the Brand

  • Work closely with the Marketing and PR Manager and Senior Retail Operations Executive to ensure measurable and diligent execution of marketing programs to drive sales while maintaining brand integrity. Ensure that all tools provided e.g. samples/facial services are used as directed, etc.

  • With support from Trademarketing Manager, ensure Sales Operations Procedures (SOP) and other counter operations guidelines are strictly followed.

  • Effective inventory management and ensure healthy stock mix at counters

  • Team up with Senior Retail Operations Executive to work closely with retailers and explore opportunities to drive sales and improve customer service levels.

  • Initiate discussions, ideas etc. with the Brand General Manager and office team to further improve sales and rankings at each door. Be responsible for highlighting concerns and action plans.

  • Provide monthly sales analysis and counter sales monitoring tools to control/measure effectiveness of brand initiatives.

Team Management:

  • Work closely with Education Manager to groom, inspire, educate, and motivate Regional Sales & Education Coordinators and Counter Managers for them to become effective leaders in the field – motivate and discipline field sales, fulfill customer services requirements, drive productivity, AUS and IPT, retain and cultivate customers, etc.

  • Build up a strong and stable field force team with the support from the Education Manager

  • Maximize the allocation of resources and control cost for field force, T & E, and other sales related area.

  • Review on a monthly basis for each direct report’s KPIs.

  • Conduct monthly BA meetings to review counter performance and recommend/implement course of action – training/marketing needs etc. Submit meeting minutes to Brand General Manager for review.

  • Responsible for recruiting office sales team and field force

  • Retain the best performer and provide a career development plan to all Counter Managers and above


  • Previous field sales experience in luxury goods industry.

  • Computer literate: Word and Excel (desirable).

  • Well-groomed and confident female. Always present herself in a manner that reflects the standards of La Mer brand.

  • Likes to sell (is an excellent salesperson).

  • Counter-based office. Must wear full La Mer uniform at all times during working hours

  • Excellent coach and communicator.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast paced, demanding environment.

  • Self-reliant with the ability to make solid business decisions independently.

  • Team player, inspires and mentors a team, likes to lead by example, inspires enthusiasm.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Creative and enjoy working with details.
