PRIMARY FUNCTION
Help drive CLINIQUE, LAB SERIES and ADF Brands growth objectives in the Asia-Pacific Travel Retail Business and to create best in class Brand Experience at every point of consumer interaction
Oversee the implementation of marketing calendar across the regions in TR APAC and the tracking of marketing activities.
Provide marketing direction and support to the sales team in the execution of product launches, on counter re-promote initiatives and events.
Manage operational effectiveness and contribution to achieve impactful execution at every counter.
Engage in business analysis in order to drive business growth and manage inventory
Develop and grow Marketing Executive in marketing skills and development
Product Launch Implementation
Develop and execute New Product launch plans –plan and coordinate with functional stakeholders (Sales, Visual merchandising, Supply chain, NY Marketing team) on details of all launches
Develop and implement the marketing calendar with clear objectives and guidelines. Plan and coordinate with Sales, Education and Visual Merchandising Team on the execution of Sales Promotions and Special Events
Assist RMD in liaising with Demand Planning Team on the forecast and orders of new products, promotional sets, GWP, samples and demonstration products.
Supply-chain Management of Products & Marketing Collaterals.
Maintain close working relationship working with Sales team on tracking availability and usage of new products launches & promotional SKU’s, Point-of Sale collateral, GWP, samples, testers etc.
Analysis and consolidation of sales results for launches & promotions
Consolidate & analyze competitive benchmarking in the trade, and provide feedback to RMD
Product Category Management
Formulation of TR sets strategy – pricing, mix, sizes, packaging and channel. Be the lead in initiating seasonal feedback within Marketing team.
Manage stock allocation / order prioritization of franchise, new products and sets, with follow-up action to NY Marketing/Lachen/regions
Sales tracking and performance evaluation of new products and sets after launch
Consolidation of forecasts of Sell-in vs Sell Through for key launches
E-Commerce
Spearhead and implement e-commerce strategy for APAC to meet brand goals and objectives
Work closely with markets to develop and implement marketing and commercial plans to drive retail sales and significant online presence
Develop and manage e-commerce sites on retailer platforms
Analyze and measure campaign effectiveness
Manage day to day operations for online campaigns
Work with vendors and internal team to ensure campaign deliverables are implemented on time and within budget
Digital
Develop and implement strategies to drive online traffic to e-commerce sites
Analyze and measure campaign effectiveness
Identify and analyze market trends and competitor activities online to develop recommendations for online strategies and campaigns
Manage day to day operations for online campaigns
Work with vendors and internal team to ensure campaign deliverables are implemented on time and within budget
Trade Marketing
Work closely with RMD to identify opportunities and strengths by analyzing channel & sales fundamentals, go to market strategies, competitive benchmarks, sell through, commercial promotions and events effectiveness in the trade across the region
Spearhead and work closely with Sales team to develop and implement trade promotion plans for key retailers in APAC to meet brand goals and objectives
Marketing Operations and Effectiveness
Manage Marketing Executive/suppliers on development and production of collaterals, communications materials and supporting premiums
Manage Marketing Executive on assortment and pricing processes
To be key contact to obtain needed materials from brand, provide marketing materials to retailers and ASMs on their operational requirements
Lead Sales cycle meeting preparation: marketing books, collateral information, domestic launch information etc.
Maintain healthy stock status in Lachen by working with ASMs to ensure that saleables as well as promotional stocks are used based on marketing and sales forecast.
Track specific marketing expenses to ensure spending within budget
Visual Merchandising
Work with Visual Merchandising team to provide Marketing direction on execution of launches, promotions animations and events
Work closely with VM to input orders for collaterals and tools based on regional requirements
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Marketing and Trade Marketing knowledge
Understanding of FMCG or luxury market & consumer shopper behavior
Travel Retail experience most preferred
Must be highly entrepreneurial and numbers driven, possessing analytical skills
Strong Commercial acumen
Self-started individual who can demonstrate critical thinking skills and decision making
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Ability to work with ambiguity
Goal and results oriented
Strong project management skills, and able to multi-task effectively across many projects and launches on time and in full
Demonstrate skills in influencing, negotiation, planning and co-ordination in a matrix organization
