Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Sales

  2. Monitorretail and net sales performance of individual doors to ensure overallachievement of net/retail sales targets

  3. Driveand manage retail sales, recommending relevant courses of action wherenecessary and appropriate.

  4. Workingclosely with retailers to identify and pursue brand growth opportunities

  5. Managesales and expense budgets in line with budget goals

  6. Analyzethe productivity of airline listings and working with marketing team toidentify listing opportunities, ensuring that listing goals and relevant NOPsare achievedMarketShare/Competitive Activity

  7. Keepabreast with competitors’ activities and provides feedback on competitivedynamics such as competitors’ activities, pricing, brand ranking and marketshare for each account

  8. Providesfeedback to Marketing department on the success of internal marketing programas well as those of competitors

  9. Knowsthe market (size, profile, future potential etc.)

  10. MarketingImplementation

  11. Implementand maximize launch opportunities for new programs

  12. Ensuretimely sell in of all marketing programs according to marketing strategy and tospecific market needs

  13. Ensureavailability of point of sale materials, good utilization and effective use ofsuch support

  14. Negotiateswith retailers for promotional space and activity for new product launches and promotes

  15. Negotiateswith retailers on highlights/layout on retailers’ web pages where applicable

  16. Negotiateswith in-flight customers on listing of new products and support on ad/visuals

  17. Brand Imagery

  18. Enforcemerchandising guidelines at point of sale

  19. Ensurebrand image is maintained at its highest standards according to brandguidelines

  20. Monitorclosely brand representation in-store and in-flight to ensure that brand isappropriately represented

  21. Providefeedback to Store Design to maximize the utilization of the space and stillmaintain the brand image

  22. Stock

  23. Negotiatesproduct selection and ensure correct product mix and full assortments to keepstock level healthy for all accounts

  24. Workwith retailer, Lachen DC and internal team to manage orders and shipments

  25. Adviseon suspected diversion of products

  26. Workclosely with retailer, regional marketing and Lachen DC in navigating China HPissues and actively working to manage forward forecasting and bridge stockrequirements

  27. Management andsupervision of staff

  28. Hires,motivates and manage the sales effort and performance of MakeupArtists/Experts/Stylist through sales incentives and motivational programs.

  29. Coordinatewith Training Manager to ensure that field staff is kept up to date on product knowledgewith constant improvement on service and selling techniques.

  30. Workclosely with team to ensure all sales activities are carried out effectivelyand in timely fashion

  31. Customer relationship

  32. Maintaininga collaborative relationship with retailers with regular retailer and doorvisits, regularly providing feedback on product assortment, stock level, sellthrough and shipments of products

  33. Maintainsexcellent relationship with affiliate brand personnel to tap on synergy

Qualifications

  1. Bachelordegree, preferably in Sales and Marketing;

  2. Minimum 5 years managerial experience, with 3 years’ relevant workingexperience in duty freeenvironment/cosmetics industry;

  3. Proficientin both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin;

  4. Mobile,energetic and willing to travel up to 60% of time;

  5. Self-starterand team player;

  6. Goodpresentation skills and strong in written and verbal communication in bothEnglish and Chinese;

  7. Proficientin MS office (Excel, Words and PowerPoint)
